A CHIP OFF THE OLD BLOCK II

A man was walking with his eleven year old daughter when he suddenly had a tightening pain in his chest, then felt dizzy, before passing out.

The girl screamed for help as a crowd gathered then they tried to call the ambulance, but they weren't able to connect with them.

Just then, I appeared and the people realized immediately I was enlightened, so tried to mob me, but they immediately stopped in their tracks when I caused them to stop moving.

The girl was horrified and tried to defend her unconscious dad from me but I smiled at her then said,"I only want to help."

The girl calmed down then gave me clearance.

I knelt down on one knee beside her father and sensed that he had cardiac arrest, so I had to use an ice blood procedure.

An ice blood procedure was a recently invented medical procedure used for people with cardiac arrest.

They used microscopic crystals of ice to enter the blood vessels of the person and clear them without damaging them in the least.

This procedure was so effective, it sped up the process of healing by ten to forty-five minutes.

I could easily use the pressure of the water content of his corpuscles and plasma to unclog the cells, but that would be inducing high blood pressure, which was a problem on its own.

A cold, icy mist started appearing in a rough sphere, below my palm and the girl screamed and lunged at me, but stopped moving in the air when I used my other hand to stop her.

I supported the man's head on my other hand then the ice blood entered his chest, right after the hand below his head started emitting huge clouds of cold vapour as his skin turned pale.

Cardiac arrest was detrimental to the brain as it needed a constant supply of oxygen.

I flash froze his brain to put the neuron cells in a frozen, preserved state, so they wouldn't be damaged by the low amounts of oxygen they were receiving, without harming them.

When the blood vessels were cleared, I gradually warmed up his brain and made his blood continue flowing, then I shocked his heart with an electric current to ' jumpstart ' it.

This whole process took about five hours of careful work.

He slowly opened his eyes and then I freed his daughter, who was oblivious to how much time had passed.

She immediately started futility hitting my belly with her fists for me to let go of him, then, when she saw he was awake again, she hugged him, then he thanked me, but his expression immediately changed.

When he realized my dark coloured skin and crystal blue eyes, which was an almost impossible combination and saw all the immobilized people, he yelled for me to get away from them.

I was shocked and looked at the girl for help, but she remained silent and hugged her dad.

I shook my head as he called the police, freed the crowd, then vanished.

After winning a highly unfair trial against the same man I rescued, due to the evidence provided by my normal lawyer, I went home without any punishment, but could still sense the judge and most of the jury glaring at me.

I sensed a child walking to the gates of the mansion and being interrupted by the guards.

He had quite big ears, was short and looked Asian.

I appeared there to see what was going on then was shocked when I saw him.

He got shy when he saw me then Lilith appeared behind me and said,"You came!"

She ran past me to hug him and I was still confused.

She then said,"Oh sorry, where are my manners, dad, this is Frankie Pitt and Frankie, this is my dad, Mr Felix Oppong."

Frankie widened his eyes and we stayed, looking into each other's eyes...was this Franklin's son?

I invited him in and he shivered violently as we walked through the grassy field surrounding the house.

I turned to him, smiled then said,"Don't worry kid, I would never hurt you."

He seemed to be even more scared as I said that and Lilith realized then her expression changed to one of...fear, as she looked at me, I had no other choice than to read both their minds, and was destroyed by what I saw...

He remembered when his father told him of what I had done to him, when my memories had been changed by Cynthia, John's sister.

I didn't understand why Franklin still held that against me when I explained everything, then again, I did it of my own will.

Anneliese came to welcome him with Alexa and my mom, Apollo was out training, for a minute, Frankie was stunned by how I was related to women who looked like that.

I then sat him down and served him some apple juice then tried explaining everything to him, he seemed to understand, though I could still sense some fear in him.

After a while, I decided to give him some space with the person he came to meet, Lilith.

They talked for several hours and he did something I didn't think he was capable of, he laughed.

They seemed to really enjoy each other's company, so I left them to go t the camp and check on things.

After Frankie had finished laughing, he saw Apollo do a barani flip with his feet on white fire and a golden, orange and brown flame trailing behind.

He did a split mid air then landed the back of his foot on the ground, causing it to compress due to the impact and be charred due to the heat.

Frankie seemed down ridden then Lilith asked why, he then answered,"My dad used to train me the same way you did, but he was recently kidnapped by a multi human, all I want to do is get him back, he's all I have...my mom died when I was born."

Lilith felt terrible for him then asked,"What if I train you?"

"How? You may have a mineral light but not an energy one."

"Trust me, my dad has taught myself and my brother a whole lot."

He then remembered I also used to train his own dad back at Bright Academy, surpassed him in level count when I had barely been there a week and won him in a duel, so he agreed.

She then said,"I'm available from 4:00pm to 5:30pm, we'll train in the garden."

"But wouldn't your dad find out?"

"No, he'll still be at work by that time, but why don't you want him to find out?"

"I'm still a little scared of him and what he might do to the son of his past rival."

She smiled, placed her hand on his shoulder then said,"As he said, he would never hurt you."

He looked at her and for a moment, they were trapped in each other's beautiful eyes...
