"Why did you want to host a party for the announcement?" Eve asked.
"The witch who attacked Leif seemed determined to kill him. Maybe for more reasons. Almost anyone would accept an invite to the castle, especially our enemies. Once the announcement of a party goes around, there is more possibility the witches would attend," Sebastian explained, offering his hand to help her up. He turned her to have her back face him and drew open her zip, making her flinch slightly at the sound.
"We can't have you standing at the entrance to check each guest and point out the witches among them," he said, pulling the sleeves of her dress off her shoulders.
"The party will be held in two days. I hope that will be enough time to gather the spells or potions to detect the witches without getting too close."
