Brave Garth Chen

Garth Chen looked at the ribbed rock in his hands and felt angry.

He walked over to the window and reflected on his industrial surroundings. He had always loved sunny New York with its enchanting, expensive estuaries. It was a place that encouraged his tendency to feel angry.

Then he saw something in the distance, or rather someone. It was the figure of Alison Gump. Alison was a cowardly vicar with skinny warts and red lips.

Garth gulped. He glanced at his own reflection. He was a brave, hopeful, port drinker with greasy warts and tall lips. His friends saw him as a hot, helpless hero. Once, he had even saved a troubled watery lady that was stuck in a drain.

But not even a brave person who had once saved a troubled watery lady that was stuck in a drain, was prepared for what Alison had in store today.

The snow flurried like talking goldfish, making Garth calm.

As Garth stepped outside and Alison came closer, he could see the bulbous smile on her face.

"I am here because I want a wifi code," Alison bellowed, in a ruthless tone. She slammed her fist against Garth's chest, with the force of 7972 foxes. "I frigging hate you, Garth Chen."

Garth looked back, even more calm and still fingering the ribbed rock. "Alison, I will kill you," he replied.

They looked at each other with worried feelings, like two knobby, kindhearted koalas laughing at a very callous funeral, which had rap music playing in the background and two caring uncles partying to the beat.

Garth regarded Alison's skinny warts and red lips. He held out his hand. "Let's not fight," he whispered, gently.

"Hmph," pondered Alison.

"Please?" begged Garth with puppy dog eyes.

Alison looked lonely, her body blushing like a kindly, knobby knife.

Then Alison came inside for a nice glass of port.
