Does That Sound Fair?

Just as I was about to panic at the fact that I had no idea where the alpha was, Leigha’s voice popped into my mind and gently urged me to remain calm. After some straightforward directions, I was pointed in the right direction and on my way to the compound.

I hadn’t been driving long when my phone rang through the bluetooth speaker. The display informed me that it was my uncle on the other line. Knowing that he wouldn’t be pleased whether or not I answered, I decided to answer since I was going to be in a vehicle for a while anyway.

“Hey,” I said loudly. “I’m driving right now, did you need something?”

“Why are you driving when you should be in class?” he barked without hesitation.

“Why are you calling me if you think I should be in class?” I snapped back.

“Girl, I’ve been calling you all morning. Where are you?” he demanded.
