While on the way, Naya could not get enough chance to descend her erupting anger, that was because of Ellie that was beside her, creating a violent scene will shudder her to hell. Rather, she clenched her jaws, grinning monstrously to suppress the anger that kept erupting in her.
This was because she feel a bunch of naughtiness within her for thinking how useless she is without Nick around her to make her daily goals fulfilled.
This is her first time, her daily goals did not go according to plan. She equalized it to Nick's absence.
Now, she feels awful and wailed inwardly to always miss him on each incident she had encountered since the daybreak.
Meanwhile, as she dealt with her inner torment, her face gives Ellie a reassuring smile.
Soon they see the Palace ahead but the outside gate was locked likewise no guards outside nor any guards at the tower.
Immediately, her mind skipped, her breathing rate increased.
She holds tightly to Ellie and rushes to the rare ends of the palace to which their hidden location is.
"Naya, the palace is quiet... seems no one around."
Ellie voiced out after a long profound silence. Seems she was battling with something within her likewise, well, it is visible she does, Naya's thoughts.
"I guess so but I have one way to find out."
Naya replied after changing her dress, she ensure her voice did not deform with trembles, she held it in.
"Which is" Ellie mumbled, curious.
Naya was quiet to reply to her, she wait for Ellie to first pass through the secret tunnel, then, follow her.
"Of course, through Nurret," Naya added simply running carelessly towards her quarter.
"Naya!" Ellie breathes heavily, how can she not care to know if the palace is already surrounded by the rebels? This moment sneaking is the best option.
Ellie could not resist Naya who had already rushed into her quarter.
"What if something bad had happened?!"
"Nothing bad can happen to a lion in its den... How dare some random rebels attack The King with His Lordship?!"
Naya replied in a more serious and higher voice that Ellie slightly feel embarrassed, she cover up her mouth to have let out that ridiculous assumption.
"I'm sure they are at the arena giving judgments to those rebels!"
Naya replied and turned to Ellie at midway, she beckon her to hurry up. Ellie scoop faster, she was behind Naya even though her eyes observed carefully,
"Oh! Yes! That's true! There is no way they will attack the Palace and His Majesty will still call for my father, he is not a warrior."
She whispered behind while Naya rush into her room, she hit upon Nurret pacing back and forth fearfully before her dresser.
As soon as Naya sees her in such a melancholic state of mind, she did not want to believe what her instinct just said to her, 'Someone died!'
Nurret squelch before Her Lady's feet, rubbing soberly on Naya's feet, her voice tear apart,
"My Lady!"
"My Princess! I was scared to hell after you left, you can punish me as much as you want for allowing you to step out of the Palace, I have no idea this will happen!"
She sobbed the more, Naya seems to be under chronic tension to react, her eyes were descending on Nurret, numbing.
"My Lady, His Lordship was attacked at the Arena together with..."
Naya cut her dreamily, she did not want to hear it, Nick was also there!
"Together with Nick?"
"Where is he now?"
"Was he injured?"
"Why are you here fidgeting!!!"
Ellie could feel Naya dreadfully emitting a strange aura that push her to the side, likewise Nurret, rambling and pleading out of guilty.
"I... was scared...that... you were... attacked, villagers were... mercilessly... killed likewise... Forgive me, Your Highness!"
Naya could not tolerate her insolence anymore, she is back alive but what about her twins? Why could she not answer her?
Instantly, Naya daze out from the Quarter, heading towards the herdhouse to ride a horse, she fears she might die on the way over cardiac arrest if she dares run to the Arena.
Nick has never gone for any activities at the Arena since they are still considered teenagers, but why would they attack him on his first day? Could he have been hurt?
Why don't he realize she never meant it when she said she did not want to see his face around here? Can't he understand she never meant It this way? Not in any way related to getting him killed.
How dare he get killed?
She climbed on the horse running weirdly towards the arena, it was a few meters away from the palace, yet, Naya could not infer why it takes an eternity to reach there.
Each gallop, she feels her heart ceasing to pound, when it pounds, it skeptically hammers... Nickdrah.
Soon, she saw the Arena afar off, wide enough for various activities, she got closer in a half-broken mind.
Everyone on the field was gigantic in their werewolf, the night breeze rattling back and forth with dingy aura, splashing again her face, numerous piercing eyes glare in her direction,
Yet, Naya scan through their midst mindless of their dark gaze.
She jump down like a warrior, fearless on the run as if aiming to attack her opponent, her duo aura already captured the pack's attention, they all paused turning to her, yet, she stumble rigidly before them.
She puffs out in her last step, heavily weighed in her chest, which seems that give her a clear vision.
His fur is exceptional, there is no way she won't recognize him.
"Nick!!!"
At a small space before the giant werewolves, where several men were tied down and made to kneel, besides those men was a lump of dead body cluster to form a big ridge.
On her thoroughly searching, she catch gaze with Lord Edam, of all the werewolves, she could recognize him at first sight, by his sides, were seven werewolves, seems his beta,
Their eyes were enraged, diversely displeased, despite her gaze being interlocked with Lord Edam, yet, not sure if truly his eyes were opened to see her.
Shortly, Lord Edam picked up a tied man from his neck, his legs dance on struggling, he appears like a minute tyrant in his grasp.
Naya see how daring Lord Edam gaze at her, instantly, he plugged the man's head off.
The sticky blood splash on his face, yet, unconscious of it.
