“Nice of her to tell you about them.”

“Sarcasm noted. I suspect we’re going to learn that there are a whole lot of things we weren’t told. All we can do is deal with them as they pop up.”

“Yeah.”

“Anyhow, I already have a plan for dealing with the nightmares.”

“Tell me,” Mickey said.

“I’m going to get an appointment with the psychologist who helped me with my problems and see if he’ll agree to work with Ted.”

“Won’t you need a referral?”

“I think I know him well enough to work around that.”

“I was thinking about your insurance,” Mickey said.

“I don’t think my little brother needs to have his medical records reflecting a visit to a psychologist at his age. It might be regarded as some sort of black mark in future years, so I’m going to try to have it handled off the grid, so to speak.”

“That’s very clever of you, babe.”

“Yeah, that’s me, poster boy for clever.”

“Sarcasm noted,” Mickey said.

“Didn’t I see you carrying a briefcase bulging with papers into the house?”
