No place for the innocent...

"Your joking right?" Dante said as he looked at Lance's expressionless face.

"Nope I'm completely serious" Lance said.

"Let me guess the slogan is hells paradise no place for a priest?" Dante laughed.

"Actually no the original owner said it was can't have fun with out a little sin." Lance replied.

"Well at least the author isn't ripping off movie lines just yet" Dante thought as he grabbed the mask beside him and got off the bed. He walked over to lance and took his remaining clothes from Lance's hands putting them on he asked. "How far away is Hell's paradise?"

"About thirty minutes away by car it's at cross street"

"Shit won't that be bad for business?"

"Not if you keep your head down" Lance said with a glint in his eyes.

"Mother fucker is trying to get me killed" Dante thought with shock as he stopped in the middle of putting his shoes on and stared at Lance. "You know that's the border between the Martello and Rosetta's how the fuck am I suppose to stop it being shot up every week!?"

"Have a bullet proof bar?"

"Not funny Lance" Dante said in an annoyed tone as he tied his laces.

"Think of this as a challenge to overcome" Lance said calmly as he watched an enraged start storming out of the door muttering like the winds of an on coming storm.

"Let's go Lance" Dante said through gritted teeth. "Couldn't fix me up with something on the east side no?" Dante seethed in his head." This is gonna be a fucking headache I can already feel it" he sighed as he walked through the Martello mansion.

Lewis Frye straightened his tie and combed back his black fringe back with his hand."Breathe just breathe. Lewis it's nothing scary just the new boss visiting another meeting" he thought to himself. psyching himself for the meeting as he looked in the mirror an anxious, sleep deprived tanned face looked back at him. his dark brown eyes covered by rectangular lenses with a black frame, readjusting them on his face he stood up straight took one last look in the mirror before stepping out of the toilets and walking to the reception.

Lewis waited in the reception with a shot of whisky for some Dutch courage as he waited for the fated meeting. Five minutes ticked by as he thought about all the reasons they would change the ownership and why the new owner visiting. "Was his work unsatisfactory" he thought with fear before pushing that thought out of his mind. "If they were unsatisfied I would be floating in a river not called to a meeting" he laughed at the dark irony of the world he worked in. As he drifted in a melancholy mood he saw a black car pull up to the side and two people got out he watched as they headed towards the door putting down his glass he got up to greet these guests.

Lewis stood respectfully as he opened the door to the two people as he gestured to enter what he thought as his humble abode. Two people that's how many that entered a small child like figure with a devilish mask and a fashion sense that looked like he was dragged of the streets. "Seriously who are his parents and how do they allow this" Lewis thought as he watched the small person gaze around the reception room taking In the white walls and vanished wooden tiles.

"The irony of this room" the small person said with a laugh as he turned to look at Lewis when the big man behind him walked through and shut the door.

Lewis at a loss said "what's ironic about it?"

"Isn't White shown used in fiction as symbol of purity and innocence?" The small person turned his gaze to Lewis his eyes hidden underneath the mask and hands in his pockets studied Lewis from top to bottom.

"Feels like he's staring into my soul" Lewis thought as he suppressed a shiver. "I suppose if you put it in that context it is very ironic" he replied as he thought of all the "business" that went on in this place. "Would you like to come to my office so we can sit down" Lewis asked.

"That would be good" the big man said with a bored tone.

"Right this way" Lewis gulped as he thought of many unfortunate scenarios that may happen if he kept the man waiting any longer.

Dante sat on a brown sofa in a cozy room the creame coloured walls and brown carpet gave it a relaxed feel to it. The main desk with newt stacks of books and papers was in front of Dante and a little to the right in the center of the back wall. The room was sparse not a lot of personalization. a picture of his family on his desk and a bookshelf, to the right of the desk, filled to the brim there were so many Dante thought if he pulled one he might bring the whole shelf with it. The two sofas with a coffee table in between was positioned in front of the large window,on the left side of the room, over looking the busy city streets below. Lewis walked in placing his whisky bottle and glass on his desk he then proceeded to sit himself opposite Dante and Lance. "What are you two gentlemen here for today?" Lewis asked the question that had been burning his mind seeping in confusion and anxiety.

"We are here to see the different types of "business" this fine establishment provides" Dante said

"Well we have gambling, the bar, dancers, prostitution and occasionally a side of drugs" Lewis stated.

"Well how about we go on a guided tour then?" Dante said with a cheerful tone.
