Back in the room, she picked up the camouflage backpack and packed it with a shell-covered dagger, insect repellent, snake repellent powder, disinfectant, bandages, cotton swabs, and a few bottles of mineral water.
After getting everything ready, she carried the backpack down the stairs with one hand, while the others gradually returned to the living room.
Caroline Edwin saw Alison Thomson's light green dress and frowned slightly, her fingers fidgeting with the strap of the camouflage backpack.
She pulled a chair out and sat down, "Go change into a thinner long-sleeved shirt and pants, and remember not to wear high heels."
Alison glanced at her fancy dress and kitten heels and blinked, "Okay, I'll listen to you and go change right away."
Whatever Carol said must be right, so she followed her advice.
She put down her hat and water and quickly ran upstairs to change her outfit.
