"Miss Mu, the pills you provided have already been studied by our pharmaceutical research institute. The efficacy is indeed as you said, it works quickly and has long-lasting effects. We are now interested in hiring you to work at our pharmaceutical research institute. Would you be willing?" Assistant Mo Fan had a gentle smile on her face and sat upright.

"I'm not surnamed Mu, I'm surnamed Bai." Bai Xiao Ai glanced at Qiao Minghe on the other side of the desk, who seemed to be ignoring their conversation and was busy looking at documents.

Assistant Mo Fan smiled faintly and did not argue with her about her surname. She continued to ask in a gentle tone, "Then Miss Bai, are you willing to come and work at the pharmaceutical research institute?"

However, what she never expected was that the CEO of the Qiao International Group, which the pharmaceutical research institute belonged to, would be the nobleman who was scheming to marry her.

After the discussion, Bai Xiao Ai stood up and prepared to leave.

Out of courtesy, she greeted Qiao Minghe before leaving. "CEO Qiao, I'm leaving now!"

"Okay!" Qiao Minghe's voice was indifferent.

Bai Xiao Ai's brow twitched slightly. She left the magnificent and grand office with Assistant Mo Fan's guidance.

As soon as they stepped out of the Qiao Building, Bai Xiao Ai saw a majestic and imposing Bentley parked in front of her. The driver opened the door courteously and welcomed her into the car.

"Miss Bai, please get in! Assistant Mo has asked me to take you home." The driver smiled slightly.

Bai Xiao Ai was a little surprised that they even sent a special car to take her home!

It was her first time riding in such a luxurious car, which gave her a feeling of nobility, elegance, and comfort.

After getting in the car, Bai Xiao Ai did not tell the driver where she lived, but the driver took her directly to the private estate where they lived.

Bai Xiao Ai got off in front of the villa and did not go inside. Instead, she walked around the garden while calling Bai Liao.

"Xiao Ai, how did it go? Can you work at the pharmaceutical research institute?" Bai Liao's voice came through the phone as soon as it connected.

"I have signed the contract with them and can officially start work next Monday." Bai Xiao Ai smiled slightly and said to the phone. Bai Liao was the only person she trusted now.

"Okay, that's great!"

"Liao Liao, can you help me check the CEO of the Qiao Group, Qiao Minghe?" Bai Xiao Ai said.

"Why do you suddenly want to check him? His identity is extraordinary, and it's difficult for my network to find detailed information about him." Bai Liao said.

Bai Xiao Ai sighed softly and said, "Do you know what? I just went to the Qiao Group headquarters and met the CEO Qiao Minghe in person. He was not the director or person in charge of the research institute. And he seems to have mistaken me for a woman named Mu Yue."

"The CEO of the Qiao Group personally received you?" Bai Liao's face changed slightly at the news.
