The rest of the flight was uneventful compared to the appearance of a grade one cursed spirit.
Katsuo has stored the pill in his [Inventory Stomach] since decided to take the pill after the plane landed and he found a deserted location so that no further accident would happen.
When he thought of the technique's name, [Heart Strike], Katsuo wouldn't find it strange at all if, for some reason, the passengers' hearts around him exploded after he gained the technique, and with that matter decided, Katsuo thought back to the scream and wondered what had happened.
'Was she scared by the power of the curse or she wasn't used to seeing curses at all?'
Katsuo sensed carefully and noted that the girl's cursed energy was normal, so the most likely option was the second, which meant that she was close to death, or she was like Maki, which Katsuo found improbable since Heavenly Restrictions are rare.
(AN: Being close to death enables one to see curses.)
In the end, Katsuo decided to take a look at her, and if it wasn't complicated, he would lend her a hand.
He got up from his seat and calmly walked to her booth while carefully maintaining his CE patch, and settled in a position near it where he could peek inside.
The girl who screamed was a pretty teenage Latina dressed in brand clothes.
She was being comforted by the same air stewardess who guided him here and some female passengers while quietly sobbing into her hands.
They were talking in Spanish, which he had learned until an acceptable level in his past life.
They trying to calm her down by saying that she probably had a nightmare or something like that but she wasn't responding back.
He looked carefully at her and her movements and didn't saw any signs of her being trained in anything except Yoga and with better inspection, concluded that she probably was part of some wealthy family.
Katsuo turned a unit of CE into PE and sent it to her body to check if the danger was from within and from within it was.
'Her body's a wreck!'
While he healed her body he noticed some foreign chemicals in her blood, maybe too much for a teenager, and some damage in her lungs and nerves.
'Is she a drug addict?'
Even though he suspected, Katsuo didn't judge and continued until he healed her body completely and expelled all the bad stuff from her organism.
Then he waited, knowing that if he was right, the withdrawal symptoms would begin anytime and it would probably be brutal since he had basically reset her entire body except for her brain at once.
(AN: Read this with a grain of salt, I'm not an expert in this stuff. If there's something too different from reality, comment and I will see what I can do.)
A few minutes passed and as he thought, she started sweating and groaning while holding her head, and Katsuo started to send a continuous stream of PE into her body to regulate the symptoms.
Soon, other symptoms started showing.
The Latina stewardess asked the ladies and Katsuo to go back to their seats, which they all did, and took the teenager to a special compartment in the plane but Katsuo continued sending PE into her, no matter the distance, knowing that if he didn't, she wouldn't be able to tolerate it and probably die or suffer from serious damage.
A few hours where Katsuo continued to alleviate her symptoms with his PE passed and the symptoms had almost disappeared.
The Latina girl, who seemed dehydrated, came back to her seat while being supported by the stewardess, which meant that they somehow found out that it was drug withdrawal symptoms since there would be no way she would have returned if they suspected that she had a disease.
Katsuo stood up from his seat and went to her again.
This time, he crouched next to her and his eyebrows frowned a little because he took in the smell of vomit at close range with his enhanced senses, but he ignored it and looked at her.
She looked tired and had a painful look on her face.
She turned her eyes to him and said in Spanish and in a very bad and sad mood.
"What are you looking at?"
Understanding her, Katsuo only smiled and slowly spoke in his best Spanish.
"Olvídate del monstruo. Te curo de las drogas. El dolor es bueno. Esta es tu oportunidad. No lo desperdicies."
meaning
"Forget the monster. I cure you of drugs. The pain was good. This is your chance. Don't waste it."
He had never spoken it so fluently in his past life.
Before she could answer, he touched her forehead and used CE to make her unconscious.
(AN: Gojo style!)
She needed to rest and Katsuo didn't want to deal with the attention right now.
To him, this was just helping someone because he noticed and because he could, but he had done enough, and now she had to help herself.
He returned to his seat and an hour later, the plane landed.
He took his backpack and disembarked the plane.
He entered the airport lobby and looked around and soon found a blond caucasian woman in her late twenties, who was wearing a suit and had a respectable amount of CE for a sorcerer, holding a cardboard where it was written "Gojo Satotu" in kanji.
Looking at that, Katsuo only felt like laughing.
It seemed that his teacher hadn't passed his decision to the higher-ups.
Suddenly, Katsuo felt someone grab his arm, but he didn't react since he knew who it was.
"Muchas gracias."
Said the teenage Latina in a very clear and beautiful voice as she let go of his arm and stared at him for a bit, as if wanting to memorize his face.
He was surprised since he wasn't expecting such a tame response but he still smiled and nodded at her, and she walked away.
'It seems my help was recognized. What a nice feeling.'
Knowing that he had a more important matter to take care of, he put that event in the back of his mind and walked over to the blond sorceress who was expecting his teacher.
"You are waiting for me."
Said Katsuo in perfect English, since it seemed that it would be better for communication.
The blond sorceress looked suspiciously at him and he felt her CE rile up, so he explained himself.
"Gojo sent me to deal with your problem in his stead."
The suspicion didn't lessen but she still responded respectfully.
"We were not informed of this change, please wait here and let me make a phone call first."
Katsuo gave his confirmation.
"Go ahead, I will wait next to that wall."
As he leaned on the wall, Katsuo expanded his senses to his maximum, but not to spy the phone call, but to analyze the perimeter and possible dangers.
As he expected, he felt sorcerers in various points of the airport and some outside of it.
In total there must have been a dozen of them and judging by their CE and their control over it, they didn't seem very strong and Katsuo only felt negative intentions from three of them, which could have originated from anything really.
'Natural disposition, bad day, hate against Gojo-sensei or anything associated with him, excessive patriotism, etc.'
Katsuo concluded that they seemed to be some kind of surveillance team due to their weak members and he thought it was a wise decision, after all, they were expecting Gojo, so what good does making a strong team surveil Gojo.
If for some reason he took action, it wouldn't matter if they were strong or weak, since all beings are equal when in front of him.
'I hope to be like that in the future, but for now, I have to be vigilant since I am on foreign territory. '
A few minutes passed and the blond sorceress returned.
"Sorry for the wait, it was confirmed that someone was sent instead of Gojo Satoru. Could I know your given name?"
"Katsuo."
"It has been confirmed, please follow me, sir."
'She treated me as sir. What a nice but weird feeling.'
"No need for sir, just call me Katsuo"
Katsuo followed her, but instead of exiting the airport, she took him to a door that probably leads to the runaway.
Hi there.
So Katsuo did his good deed of the day and was received at the airport by a caucasian sorceress. Let's see where this will lead too.
I'm thinking of making most of the sorcerers in North America belong to an organization like MIB. What do you think?
Comment on anything you disagree, agree, ideas, critics, etc, etc. I appreciate almost all comments.
I hope you like it,
Bye.
