Claude, on the verge of tears, could only nod and reply, "Sure."
Martha sniffed and said no more as she followed the court bailiffs.

Behind her, her daughter's heart-wrenching cries could still be heard, but Martha did not look back. It would only make it hard for her to leave with the bailiff.
Martha turned her head to the other side, closed her eyes and held back the tears.
Angela froze there, her gaze followed as her mother left with the bailiffs sadly. Tears once again poured down. It was all Gloria White's fault!

Gloria was not in a hurry to leave. She just stood there and watched. Nydia and the others had walked over to her. Nydia asked eagerly, "Gloria, what now?"
Gloria tore her gaze from Marsha and said, "Let's get out of here."
Nydia nodded, but said nothing after all.
