Finding a solution

He followed a few steps behind me as I walked through the trees. It was midday, and the sun was high in the sky. The rays radiating from the sun warmed my skin. I stood on the sand for a bit, closing my eyes and tilting my face up. I relished the feeling before continuing to the water. There weren't a lot of sets rolling in at this time. It didn't matter, though; I felt slightly better just by being in the water. I ducked under a wave that was coming towards me.

I turned around, taking a deep breath and blowing it out slowly. Smell the flowers and blow out the candles. I let his words from earlier sink in fully. I was in my own element, so it was easier to think.
