Chapter one: Hero summoning and a Goddess

It was a normal day of school for Kenjiro Yoshihisa, he was in his school walking down the hallway to his class. He had white hair, because of some unique genes he had, with white skin that was almost pale because he didn't go out in the sun much.

He wasn't the most liked person in school, just because he looked a bit different and he didn't have any friends, but he wasn't hated either, at least if you asked him he would say he wasn't hated.

He went to the gym on occasion but wasn't the most active gym person. He didn't really have any hobbies either other than playing computer games.

When he walked into the classroom most of his class was already there, some turned to see who entered when he walked in, looking to see if it was one of their friends. When they saw it was just Kenjiro they went back to talking with the friends that were there.

Most of the prominent people were already here. Now that didn't mean they were liked.

Some of the people were, matsuta nagashima, the class weirdo. He was into anime, manga and other stuff that had anything to do with magic and fantasy. He didn't have any friends and most people avoided him like the plague. He had brown hair and blue eyes, with skin that looked normal, not pale or tanned.

Then there was suzue yoshioka, the class gyaru. She had dyed blonde hair and tanned skin. She was also a slut, and this wasn't just rumours, if asked about it she would offer people her 'services' for the right price. She was one of the most popular girls in school, probably for her looks.

Then there was Shiro Murayama, the class leader. He had black hair and blue eyes that flowed with purpose and leadership. He was semi muscular going to the gym often. He was one, if not, the most popular guys in school.

Then there was Murayama's best friend, the class muscle head, Hideo Urushido. He was almost constantly seen in the gym when he wasn't with friends or in school, his uniform barely even fit over his muscles. His hair was black, but you couldn't really tell as he had a crew cut, and his eyes were a mix of blue and green. Everyone knew not to mess with him, he got into a fight once and won in two hits, he might not have any form or training but the power behind his punches made up for it.

And finally, the most beautiful girl in the school, the class beauty, ikuko kanai. She had natural blonde hair and blue eyes with perfect skin and a sweet personality. She was the most popular girl in school, she even had her own fan club, although she didn't know about it.

Kenjiro then sat down and went on his phone waiting for clas to start as the rest of class soon came to class. And after five minutes everyone was there, with some of them copying homework from others and one of them looking out the classroom door for the teacher.

"Guys she's almost here!" The guy who was keeping watch said, which made the people copy faster not caring about their writing and the people who wrote stuff on the whiteboard rubbed it out quickly.

But just as they were doing that something bright caught some people's eyes, it was in the centre of the room and was getting brighter and bigger quickly.

Nagashima, the class weirdo, seemed to recognise what it was and semi shouted it out. "A magic circle?!"

And then light filled the room and then the light was gone. When the teacher of the class opened the door and saw none of her class was there she was confused, she swore they were in here.

But the class was not there, at least not anymore, and they probably wouldn't be there for a long time to come.

When the class opened their eyes and looked around, they were scared. They were in a completely different place, they were in a big room that looked to be made out of solid gold that some of the room was actually shining.

The ceiling of the room couldn't be seen as the walls looked like they went upwards forever, with pillars that looked to be made out of light going up as well to hold the ceiling.

But right in front of them were some stairs to a throne, and sitting on that throne was a woman. Her beauty is too high to describe that the only word fitting for someone of her looks to be called a goddess.

She looked down on them smiling happily and sweetly, and when she spoke her voice was soft and sweet but commanding and calming. It reverberated around the room and if they didn't see her before she spoke they wouldn't have known where the source of the voice was. "Oh heroes. I implore you to save my world from the evil Demon King, Ath'texon."

"What's going on?"

"Demon king?"

"I want to go home!"

"Who is she?!"

"Bring us back!"

There were a variety of responses but most of them were frightened and voiced it loudly. Kenjiro couldn't even hear his own thoughts; he was just trying not to panic. He would be lying if he said he wasn't curious about what she was talking about, but right now he knew he didn't want to be here.

The woman, goddess, sighed and put her arms out in front of her slowly and calmly. Light gathered around her fingers before it burst around the room, and the light fell like snow onto the class.

It had a calming effect that made everyone stop shouting and actually get their thoughts in order. Although everyone was still afraid and nervous they weren't shouting anymore.

"Please, calm yourself heroes. I shall explain everything to you all." She said making everyone turn to her if they weren't already. "My name is Rehella, I am a goddess. I have summoned you from your world to mine in hopes of you heroes being able to defeat the demon king."

People started to bark out questions before being silenced by murayama. "Please, calm down! I know you're all scared, I am too. But this doesn't mean we should be rude, she is a goddess after all. I'll ask the questions so we can get to the bottom of this."

Everyone in the class agreed and the goddess looked impressed with his leadership skills. "Please, ask any questions you have, hero of another world."

Murayama nodded his head and thought for a second before asking his question. "I'm sure this is a question that is on most of our minds, so I'll ask you straight out, I see no need to dodge this question so please answer honestly. Can you take us back to our world? Right now?"

Rehella shook her head sadly. "Unfortunately I can do no such thing at this time. The demon king has a spell around this world that makes it impossible to bring people from other worlds here. I saw a moment of weakness in it and summoned you all here so you could defeat him. Although, if it is any comfort you will all be able to go home once the demon king is dead." Rehella comforted them with the information that going home wasn't gone, just difficult.

Although people were distressed that they couldn't go home now, they did take comfort that they could go home eventually.

"I see, I suppose I should have suspected something like this." Murayama mumbled. "My next question. How do you expect us to defeat a demon king if you haven't already? If you haven't noticed we are just normal people, so what makes you think we could do it?"

Rehella had a distressed look on her face. "I would have defeated the demon king ages ago if I could have, but so long as his presence is on cethea, my planet, I can go down there and kill him to liberate the people that worship me." She informed them, it made sense. Why would she make up a lie about it and get them there if she could just kill him herself?

"And you all have the power to defeat monsters, now that you are in this world. Once you stepped into this palace your body mixed with the mana in the air, allowing you to use magic, but it also gave you all a class, a special role. You can all see what class you have along with your stats so long as you say 'status'." She informed them.

With that information all of them got excited, not all of them knew about fantasy but all of them have at least played games where you have to choose a role that will give you special buffs depending on what it is.

"Status." Was the one word that rang out in the room, with people having a screen appear in front of them, but when checking not being able to see the others status.

Each status varied but all of them had at least one stat in the hundreds, is what was supposed to be true and is what the goddess thought was true. But one person, who didn't know this, just looked at his status happily.

Kenjiro didn't know much about what your stats were supposed to be when you came to another world, no that was Nagashima's job. But just seeing something in front of him that he knew was impossible but was actually happening was amazing and fascinating to him.

Kenjiro was a little confused about not having a class, but maybe not everyone had one? And his skills didn't seem very… hero-like, but who was he to judge, he would do his best to help anyway.

"Alright, heroes." Rehella spoke, getting everyone's attention on her again. "I'm sure you've gotten familiar with your status, I wish to know what type of heroes my people will be lucky to have. I have also not gotten any of your names, so please call you your name and class, and your average stats."

"I'll go first." Murayama spoke loudly. "My name is shiro murayama, my class is hero and all my stats are two hundred." He spoke proudly with a smile on his face that gave confidence to everyone around him.

"Wonderful." Rehella spoke happily. "I'm glad that my world is in your capable hands, hero shiro."

Shiro nodded his head a little and stepped back for the next person. But while that was happening, Kenjiro was confused. Was Murayama's stats just abnormally high? Or was he just weak?

Then Shiro's best friend stood forward and spoke in a rough voice about his status. "My name is hideo urushido, I'm a dragon slayer. With the highest stat of two hundred and the lowest at one hundred and fifty."

"Brilliant." Rehella said ecstatic. "Two of the rarest and most powerful classes."

"Let's get this over with." A voice said pushing past hideo, it was suzue yoshioka. "I'm Suzue Yoshioka, my class is…" She let out an annoyed sigh before speaking again. "My class is prostitute berserker, which is incredibly rude, and my highest stat is one hundred and seventy with the lowest being fifty in mana."

Rehella, although slightly confused about the class suzue got still explained it. "It's a class with great potential, and don't worry about mana, your class isn't really suited for it anyway."

And then it continued like that people getting classes and high stats, it seemed everyone would at least have one stat in the hundreds.

Some of the classes that stood out among the ones that Kenjiro heard were gunslinger, apostle, warlord, beast and trickster. Although every class was unique, these ones stood out the most to him.

Then it was Kenjiro's turn. He walked up to the front and started talking. "Kenjiro Yoshihisa, no class, and my average stats are sixteen. But that can't be right? I mean compared to the others I'm too weak, I'm supposed to be a hero. I'm sure you can see my real status, right?"

Even though Kenjiro was saying this, he knew somewhere deep down that this was his real stats. He just didn't want to accept it, I mean who knows what would happen to him if his stats were this weak.

Rehella, the goddess that summoned them there, looked down on him with an unreadable look on her face.

This is my first original work, I have only wrote fan-fictions before but I feel like my writing skills are up to par for an orginal story.

This might seem like a unique isekai story but I promise I will try and make it unique. It also won’t be harem as I can’t even write romance with one person.

Have some idea about my story? Comment it and let me know.
