Fan Lin spent the next week doing nothing. He restored the Millennium Ice shards by two times making their restoration progress at around 85 percent.

He would be done in a two weeks at most.

It had been around two and a half months since he had come out of the Vast Ocean.

He would have never thought that the journey of the Deep North would benefit him that much even though he did nothing in there.

He just lazed around or went to walks or just had random talks with Huo Yun.

He made food, lots of snacks and food from around the world for Huo Yun. Many times the others also joined due to the smell of the food. He enjoyed the time there. He was enjoying the time there.

He was fully living like a neet. He slept whenever he wanted to. He woke up whenever he wanted to and he did whatever he wanted to do.

He didn't have to train or work on something. He was finally able to sleep and get some well deserved rest. He was happy after a long time.

His desire to fulfill his goal became refreshed. He was able to see the glimpse of a world that he was going to create.

The soul beasts in the Deep North were free from the clutches of the humans. They were free and were following their nature.

All of them were living like they were used to. There was no person who was controlling them. No one they should be afraid of. They were happy with their home.

This was the world inside the Deep North where they were protected by stronger beasts.

The other places, even the Star Dou forest had become hunting grounds for the humans and it will cease to exist in a few more centuries.

The humans were already planning on moving to another planet for resources and they will definitely be able to do so.

Even his own world has started colonisation of Mars and Moon. This was a far more technologically advanced world. It will be possible to do so in just a few centuries for them.

He knew that once they did, they will either ravage this planet to take everything from it or make it a conservation sphere.

Humans were like that. He didn't want any of the things. He was going to change it. Even if it means to take the free will of the people of this world. He will do it.

Peace and prosperity has a price to pay. If they want it then they would have to obey some things in return.

He was never a impartial person to begin with.

Plus the world didn't need soul beasts, only Spirit masters did and they were not going to be that useful in future where technology is far more advanced than it was now.

Fan Lin was thinking of the future. His thoughts were interrupted by Huo Yun.

"What are you doing here?"

She asked.

"You go for walks at this time everyday. So why are you not going today? "

Since the Divine realm was gone at that time, he thought that he would be able to ascend without the restriction of the divine realm. He was doing it for the past few thousand years and he even co-operated with the humans to attain that."

"He didn't care about the other beasts that much at that time since he thought that he would be able to ascend and then allow the other hundred thousand year old beasts to ascend in his divine realm. He was so immersed in that that he forgot about the humans and their development."

"After that when he failed more than a few times, he finally checked his surroundings and he was ashamed to admit that it all happened due to him becoming so focused on Godhood that he didn't realise that soul beasts have already lost what they could call their own."

"After that, he chose to awaken the Silver Dragon king to destroy the humans and to do what he was not able to. We, the Deep North, once sent an envoy a few hundred years ago but we found that Di Tian was with the Spirit Pagoda and he gave his affirmation to them. We decided to detach ourselves from them."

"After that, since we were not in the protection of Di Tian. Humans attacked us. That was also the time they were able to steal the Millennium Ice shards. An Ice Jade Scorpion betrayed us and joined the Di Tian. It was her that told him about it."

They are made of the dead bodies of the soul beasts that were left after they failed their hundred thousand year tribulations. Less than 2 out of every 100 of them can become Millennium Ice shards."

"Most of the other soul beasts bodies were either eaten by the soul beasts as it is a huge source of pure Ice energy or taken by humans. That's why every two out of hundred."

She explained awkwardly under his intense gaze.

"So what is myriad Ice shards then? Aren't they the same?"

"They aren't. Myriad Ice shards were the culmination of ice energies naturally inside the earth while Millennium Ice shards would need a corpse of a failed hundred thousand year old soul beasts. If there is no corpse then it will just become myriad Ice but if the condition of the corpse is met, then you can get the Millennium Ice shards."

She explained it finally as Fan Lin shifted his gaze towards the direction of the barrier.

"Interesting. Someone came in. Just a second, let me deal with something first."

Fan Lin went towards the direction of the barrier. He just sensed a group of people coming inside his Indestructible shield.

He immediately went towards them.

One minute later.

Fan Lin was staring at them from above. He saw the people as they assembled some device and then started scanning the place.

"Do you need something here mister?"

Fan Lin politely asked the people.

"No, nothing sir.

They also habitually replied.

All of them released their Martial souls and spirit rings. They were ready for combat.

"Not bad, even the weakest of you guys are above the soul king level while the strongest is a Titled Douluo. What are doing here?"

Fan Lin politely asked.

"We are just researchers Sir. We are here for the sightings of the weird Blue Silver Grass that was seen in here."

The Titled Douluo replied after seeing the face of Fan Lin.

"I am enjoying my holidays here, so I say, why don't you guys come after that. Tell the person you are working for that I told you to do so. And as for the Blue Silver Energy Grass. It is my Martial Soul. Here see it for yourself."

Fan Lin created a new Blue Silver Energy Grass for them to see.

All of them literally ran away. The Titled Douluo then used his powers to move them away. They were gone in a flash. Around five six flashes.
