"Hmm, I told you, didn't you? YOU ARE WEIRD." He emphasized on me being weird part.

"Dude, you don't have to tell that so harshly." I spoke.

It stung a bit. Being called weird is not that nice, you see.

"Well, I'm not talking negative about you. How shall I say this? Yea, you being a bug. You are a bug in the cultivation realm as well." He replied.

"How, though?" I asked.

I was interested in my cultivation realm, but all he said were some vague sentences. Well, it wasn't vague, I guess. He clearly called me a bug and weird.

"Your cultivation realm—it's messed up. Although you have used your Qi for attacks, it isn't some technique like others do, and you haven't fortified your defense with Qi as well. By this standard, you should be in the Advanced beginner stage." Goldy sighed and continued. "However, here's the thing. You opened your meridians way too soon. I was hoping for you to learn Qi sense, but during it, you opened your meridians as well, which could be considered as an extremely weird situation. However, I think part of the blame falls on me and the rest would be because of the struggles Hua Liu had in the past. So, in that term, you actually reached the Sage realm.

And the Qi sculpting that should have been done in the very beginning of a person's cultivation journey was done a bit late as well. However, I believe that's just a formality because doing it earlier meant that they only had to use cheaper Qi pills, so that's actually fine." Goldy looked slightly irked as he explained this stuff to me.

Even after all this explanation, I was still confused about a thing. "So, which realm am I? You never talked about it." I spoke.

"Wait a minute, will ya? Don't rush me. I'm assessing stuff." He shouted.

Then Goldy went on a mumbling session. With his tone, I believe that he would have done really great things in the mumble rap industry.

Anyway, I couldn't catch most of the things he said. The most prominent thing I heard was him assuring himself that I wasn't the emperor realm because my body fortification was just by working out. So that's something.

"Okay! Even though you defy the common sense of the Master realm, I would have to put you there. Hear me out. You did something that guys in the Sage realm usually do. However, you couldn't do something that the Master realm did-" Goldy was about to continue, however I stopped him on that.

"It's not like I couldn't. It's them skills that allow them to do the master realm stuff, right?" I argued.

"You're right. I'm not bashing you for it or anything. I'm just conveying my thoughts in terms of cultivation realms. So, since you can't do Master level stuff, you should be an Advanced beginner, but since you could do Sage stuff, you'd be in the master realm." He concluded.

Honestly, that isn't that bad. Anyway, I understood why the game never talked in cultivation terms, even though its name was literally the World of Cultivation. People naturally thought that the Qi levels were this game's cultivation terms since it kinda made sense in a way, but had they known about this cultivation realm stuff, they would've left the game already.

Why, you ask? A lot of things make little sense. A cultivation realm should've a bottleneck, right? I mean, only after surpassing the bottleneck should you be able to enter a new realm. It's as simple as that. However, how come I'm a creature that's freely roaming between three realms? That is a plot hole, if you ask me!

When I asked Goldy about it, all he gave was a sigh. "This only happens to you, you nonce! The Qi levels are the major stuff that acts as a bottleneck for someone. However, you already screwed that up since the beginning, right? That's when you deviated from normalcy. So, if you're trying to make sense of the world with what your body's going through, that would be pure madness, not even kidding." He explained.

I guess he made sense in that case. I made assumptions based on my body. However, the world works differently. No sane person learns skill in the blue sapphire stage or opens meridians in Advanced beginner stage.

"Wait, how come I could open my meridians in the Advanced beginner stage? That's exclusive for the Sage realm, right?" I asked.

"Nope, technically your explanation would've been right. However, many people don't know this fact, but the opening of meridians isn't the feature of the Sage realm." He revealed.

"Then?"

"It's actually blue sapphire's." He replied.

Ah, now it made sense—in a way. My Qi level screwed up most of the sense out of the cultivation realm.

"Wait, if my Qi level increased even further, would I be able to do the body fortification of the Emperor realm as well?" I asked, curiosity taking over my rationale.

"Not really. Remember the skill thing I talked about back in the day? By the time you get all your ten skills and level your Qi up, you won't have to do it the roundabout way. You'd legitimately become an Emperor realm cultivator." Goldy assured.

"Hmm, so Qi levels could actually mess up the realm, huh?" I mumbled.

"Well, maybe till the Sage level. One wouldn't be able to enter the Emperor realm without the ten skills. For getting into the immortal realm, you have to get your body fortified, which you could only do once you enter the Emperor realm unlike all the other things you did. Starting from the emperor realm, it is not Qi level exclusive skills, but Cultivation realm exclusive skills. Because the main game starts in the emperor realm. Until then, it's just a prelude. Only if the current generation knew about this simple fact." Goldy sighed.

I did as well. It was a crazy explanation, but I got most of it. There's a lot to take in. I now understand why Goldy asked me to focus on getting into the ancient realm alone. Meh, it's good to know stuff, anyway! Maybe I learned a bit more from it or something.
