The downfall (182)

With Bachira's darkened eyes signaling his intent, he skillfully dribbled past two opposing players, showcasing his individual flair.

The ball was then expertly volleyed towards Nakada, who leaped into the air to receive it. In the midst of the airborne play, Loki intercepted Nakada's path, "Did you think I would let you get past me so easily"Loki said looking at Nakada to which the teenager seemed unfazed by what Loki said.

Matter of fact he looked like he had planned for this and with a grin on his face he said, "I was counting on it."

As the ball sailed towards them, Loki's attention shifted behind, attempting to anticipate its trajectory.

However, Nakada had a surprise in store. In a moment of brilliance, he executed a scorpion kick, altering the ball's path and leaving Loki caught off guard.

The clever deception had successfully outwitted the speedy opponent, showcasing Nakada's ingenuity on the field.

Before the goalkeeper could react, the ball gracefully nestled into the back of the net, completing a masterful play orchestrated by Nakada, Bachira, and Nishioka.

As Nakada landed on the floor he seemed to be a bit gassed out, his eyes seemed to slowly go from normal and back into their enhanced state.

His vision was blurry a bit, he was seeing stars…..

He doesn't have that long left.

"Oh, come on, why did no one notice me? They're praising you three instead," Otoya said, sounding a bit hurt.

Nakada could see right through him, which was pretty easy.

Otoya's deepest desire was to be noticed by the world, making it easier for him to have a chance with girls.

It was that simple, and he could see it quite easily. Nakada sighed a bit before saying, "Is it really that bad, though?"

"Yeah, it is... I won't get noticed by the..." Otoya started, to which Nakada sigh before saying, "I mean, the professionals and the people who actually understand football will recognize that the role you play is very crucial. Plus, isn't it better to attract much smarter women instead of airheads?"

Otoya let out a slight complaint in response to Nakada's answer, "Well, it would still be nice to get some recognition, you know? Maybe a few cheers or a pat on the back."

"Dont worry about it, if you do well you won't really have to worry about that if you do badly do then heh, suck to suck, so unless you want to live with your right hand then get good," Nakasa said after a bit.

"Worst case scenario you become like Sendou and just go marry some Hollywood actor or something," Nakada said bluntly.

"You harsh" Otoya added to which Nakada just shrugged saying

"Call it a reality check"

To be fair the reason that most people may not notice him was because he was doing his job quite well, kinda like Buskets from the Barcha main team.

You may not notice what he does but what he does has great importance.

Now, as the game resumed, Nakada's focus shifted back to the field. Pxg would surely retaliate, and he needed to be ready, or he would pass out on the field in no time.

As Pxg took control of the kickoff, the determination on their faces was evident. They recognized the threat posed by Nakada, Nishioka, and Bachira and were ready to counteract the newfound synergy within the Barcha team.

Pxg regrouped after the kickoff, swiftly transitioning into an offensive formation. Zantetsu, known for his acceleration, raced down the flank with the ball glued to his feet.

Kira and Tokimitsu strategically positioned themselves to create passing options, while Shido held his ground, ready to exploit any defensive lapses.

Zantetsu's acceleration proved challenging for the Barcha defense to handle. He darted past defenders, leaving them in his wake. Barcha's goalkeeper, on high alert, anticipated the impending threat and prepared for a potential shot.

Kira, demonstrating his calculated playmaking skills, received a precise pass from Zantetsu. With a quick glance at the goal, Kira delivered a calculated shot that seemed destined for the net.

The only thing that Kira thought about before shooting the ball toward the goal was pretty simple. 'If someone that was having a mental breakdown could do it so why couldn't he?..... He used to be Japan prized jewel Afterall

Barcha's defenders, recognizing the danger, rushed to block the shot. However, the Pxg attackers had unleashed a rapid and coordinated assault, keeping Barcha's defense on its toes.

As the ball approached the goal, Barcha's goalkeeper leaped into action, attempting a spectacular save.

The ball however just hit the post of the goal,he was so close yet so far off,if the ball was a little bit to the left he would have scored, and he would have won....why didn't it go...what did he do wrong….

As Kira was muttering that the ball landed infront of its owner, who stood ready to pounce on this opportunity. His eyes, filled with determination and focus, locked onto the ball.

With quick and precise control, Nakada trapped the ball effortlessly at his feet. The crowd's roar reached a crescendo, recognizing the imminent threat Nakada posed to the Pxg team.

In an instant, Nakada began his sprint toward the Pxg goal. The defenders, still recovering from the previous attack, struggled to reposition themselves.
