Nagi (205)

With Nakada absent, the rest of the Barcha team seemed inconsequential to Nagi. They lacked the ability to push him to his limits, as Nakada often did.

The field, once a daunting battleground, now felt like an open canvas for Nagi to exploit.

Nagi's eyes darkened as he scanned the surroundings, an intense focus settling upon him.

His vision, honed and calculating, assessed every angle, every movement. The absence of Nakada allowed him to freely analyze the Barcha defense, identifying vulnerabilities with precision.

In the blink of an eye, Nagi absorbed a wealth of information. His keen perception discerned the weaknesses in Barcha's defensive formation from his vantage point. The gaps and openings in their structure became apparent, like a chessboard waiting to be manipulated.

With this newfound insight, Nagi's mind worked swiftly to formulate a plan. He saw not just the defenders but also the paths they might take in an attempt to thwart him. The darkened intensity in his eyes reflected a determination to exploit the weaknesses laid bare before him.

As Nagi surged forward, the ball obediently dancing at his feet, he set his sights on the crucial spot from which he planned to unleash his shot. However, fate had a different course in mind, and just before he could reach his destination, Bachira intercepted his path.

"Planning on going anywhere, prodigy-chan?" Bachira's voice carried a playful undertone as a smile played on his face. Nagi, undeterred and focused, shot a steely gaze at Bachira and curtly replied, "Move."

Bachira, seemingly unswayed by Nagi's demand, remained planted on the field. Instead of yielding, he flashed an even wider smile and, with a sense of mischief, proceeded to press the prodigy.

Executing the practiced maneuvers with a finesse born of repetition, Bachira successfully shadowed Nagi, denying him the opportunity to slip past. "Annoying," Nagi muttered under his breath, frustration evident in his tone as he realized the difficulty in eluding Bachira's persistent pressure.

Surveying the field, Nagi discerned the impending encirclement, recognizing that escape was growing increasingly improbable. In that critical moment, a mental image flashed before his eyes — a familiar face that brought a surge of motivation.

It was a face that resonated with determination, echoing the reason why, at this crucial juncture, Nagi hesitated to pass the ball.

The internal struggle played out on Nagi's face, the conflict between personal desires and the needs of the team. Passing the ball, though a fundamental aspect of team play, held a weight of reluctance for Nagi in this instance.

As he grappled with conflicting thoughts, the image of the familiar face provided clarity and renewed determination.

With newfound motivation, Nagi resolved to make a decision not just for himself but also for the collective aspirations of the team.

The next move would not only define his role in the ongoing match but also reflect a deeper understanding of the interconnectedness of individual brilliance and collaborative success on the football field.

Nagi, with the ball at his feet, initiated a subtle dance, as if preparing for the familiar motion of a pass. Bachira, attuned to Nagi's every move, anticipated the impending transfer of possession. However, in a swift sleight of foot, Nagi aimed to deceive.

In a split-second, Nagi feigned the motion of passing, luring Bachira into positioning for an interception. But just as the anticipation reached its peak, Nagi executed a last-minute pullback, deftly yanking the ball away from the anticipated pass.

Bachira however wasnt tricked,a bunch of people used this trick before..for a fact he knew he was part of that group of people so he wasnt fooled.

With a knowing grin, he recovered swiftly and remarked, "This old trick won't work on me."

Nagi's eyes darkened, a storm of determination brewing within them. In an instant, he transitioned from the finesse of deception to the sheer display of physical might. With a burst of energy, Nagi engaged his formidable strength, attempting to overpower Bachira.

Muscles flexed, and the clash of power resonated on the pitch. Nagi, relying on his own physical prowess, sought to assert dominance. Simultaneously, his perfect control over the ball came into play, the ball seemingly glued to his feet as he navigated the pitch with a grace that defied the intensity of the struggle.

Bachira, confronted by the combined force of Nagi's strength and ball control, faced a formidable challenge.

Having successfully overpowered Bachira with a blend of physical might and ball control, Nagi surged forward, leaving his counterpart momentarily behind. With the goal in his sights, Nagi prepared for the decisive moment.

As he approached the optimal shooting position, Nagi unleashed a powerful strike, directing the ball towards the left corner of the goal.

The stadium held its collective breath, anticipation building as the ball traveled through the air with a ferocious velocity.

Yet, the Barcha goalkeeper, a stalwart defender of the team's net, proved equal to the challenge.

Reacting with lightning reflexes, he dove towards the targeted corner, stretching his body to the limit. In a spectacular display of goalkeeping prowess, he managed to block Nagi's formidable shot, denying the prodigy the satisfaction of seeing the ball hit the back of the net.
