"Okay ", Bety said as she closed her window,

I closed mine, walked down the stairs, and just when I was inches away from the doorknob I heard my old man's voice,

"Where are you going to this late",

"I'm going out for a run", 

"This late?, you're just a disappointment, you're mates are either studying for school by this time, some are even working and you, all you are thinking of is going out for a run", He knew I got good grades, he just wanted to annoy me, I tried getting a job before but it didn't go so well, turns out people think they can control you because they are the ones paying you.
