Chapter 6 - Who are You?

I can't answer.

I don't even know what she means by saying that "aftermath" word.

Is it wrong for me to get close to her?

My body is numb like what the fuck is happening to me?

Her voice is so cold that it gives me shivers every time I hear it.

Ah! Damn. I feel so fucking frustrated right now.

I looked down and started to think.

Then, here goes nothing...

"Yes?" I answered bravely but I think that sounded like a question though.

However, when I looked at her, I was surprised by her shocked expression. She must have thought that I don't want to be in trouble since I'm a popular guy that should show others how good I am because I am this and that. Well, she is wrong. She suddenly stood up and walked away but when she was about to open the door, she paused…

"Aviana." She said and finally left without even looking at me. She looks troubled by the way that I answered her question but she ended up telling me her name.

I sighed and look up at the sky once again. Yet, my peace was easily cut off when I heard my phone ringing. Sean is calling.

"Yeah?" I answered.

"Class is about to start better get here fast." He said on the other line. I immediately ended up the call and ran toward our classroom.

"Mr. Fiera, you are late. You will sit on that empty seat." The professor said while pointing to an empty seat beside another empty seat. It was near the window.

When I finally sat down in my seat, the door of the classroom opened again and there I saw her coming in with that mysterious ambiance of her.

"Your seat is there Miss." The professor said while she just proceeded to walk.

Why does that professor call her Miss?

Does she have no surname?

And wait, did that professor just point to the seat beside me?

Just before I know it, she is already right beside me. Silence broke out in the room and everyone began to buzz. Based on their looks, I think that they are all talking about her who is currently sleeping now. The professor started to discuss after that.

Will she be okay with this?

Not listening to the professor.

This subject is a bit hard though.

Well then, I will just take notes for her.

Hours had passed and she was still sleeping peacefully. Well, she was about to sleep a while ago when we were on the rooftop but was unable to do so because I kept on talking to her. She must be really tired. However, it's already dismissal and she is still sleeping. There is already no one around anymore instead of us. Sean already went home due to the sudden arrival of his father that came from China.

"Hey." I poked her after I have mastered my courage.

"Hey!" I said and poked her again.

She is definitely deeply asleep. When I attempted to do it again, my eyes widened when she pulled me and surprisingly kissed me. After that, she let go while smirking at me and got out of the classroom without saying a word.

I can't breathe.

"What will I do? This is starting to get hopeless. Controlling this feeling, I mean." I smiled realizing what I just said to myself.

Did I just actually fall for her?

By the way, where did she go?

She is so damn fast.

Did she go home already?

When I was already at the parking lot and was about to get in my car, I saw figures of people not far from where I was standing. However, one figure looked familiar so, I walked toward them to see who it might be. When I finally got there, I saw Aviana with some people holding knives in their hands.

"AVIANA!" I shouted in horror. She immediately turned her head at my pace. She looked irritated when she saw me standing there, watching her like an idiot once again.

"So, Aviana is your name." A guy said to her. He looks like a beggar with those unpleasant clothes.

"You should have not come here." She whispered running towards me, hiding me behind her back as if like I needed some protection from her when it should have been me who is the one doing that.

"But-" I was about to complain when she suddenly pushed me and right then… I saw why she did that. Someone is standing behind me. That's when I finally realized how different her strength was from mine and she shouldn't be belittled so easily. She easily kicked that guy's hand who was holding a knife in his hand.

"HAHAHA! The guy now is in the damsel in distress." The guy who attacked us shouted and they all laughed in unison.

"Are you alright?" She asked worriedly, moving backward while pulling me away from the people in front of us.

"Stay behind me." She added and grabbed onto my wrist tightly.

"O-okay?" I answered confused.

And I stiffen when they all started to attack at the same time. It's just a shame that I can't even protect her but dang she is really great at fighting.

"Behind you!" I shouted so she ducked and punched the guy in his face. There is no way she kills for fun. When it was finished, she finally faced me and unexpectedly embraced me very tightly.

"They didn't hurt you?" She asked and I nod in return, then I heard her sigh heavily. After that, she let go and was about to walk away when I pulled her and then hugged her again.

"Why are you so worried? Is it possible that you like me?" I asked joking but I just heard her laugh at me. She then pushed me but at the same time pulled the collar of my shirt. After that, she pressed her lips onto mine. It was a deep passionate kiss.

"You are mine, remember?" She said between our kisses.

We stopped when she pushed me gently smiling. This is the first time that I saw her smile and it was so wonderful to look at...
