The next day.
The last thing I remember was the scary reflection of my face in the mirror. How the ground became this soft and comfortable?
I sat up and looked around.No one was there beside me and I wondered why? It wasn't even my room. I stumbled out of the bed to the door and opened it. I was still at the base. What about my son? I had promised to rush to him as soon as I was done with my work. Fuck, he must be boiling with anger now.
I walked through the hallway to the stairs and the dining room. I didn't care about anyone's presence or recalling what had happened to me, I only wanted to run to my son.
