John Crow was a poor student, but he was smart.
After buying his first computer at the age of 4, he started to dwell into the amazing world of hacking at the age of 8. For the next 10 years, he polished his skills, never daring to do anything too eye-catching, in fear of getting traced back.
However, when he turned 18, he was fed up with his pointless life. Everything he was learning at school was too far away from the reality, his family was poor and never supported his dream of becoming a CEO, and as if it wasn't enough, his last girl friend had cheated on him.
The accumulation of unlucky events led him to do something crazy: hack into the Secret Military Bio computer department from the Great alliance of the big Four.
In 2223, biochips were a project that was completely monopolized by the military. There were many rumors about it, from the existence of computers that had feelings to aliens. However, John wanted the truth.
Hence, he downloaded the programs, the blueprints and everything else. For the next 6 years, he did everything he could, from card funding to hacking big companies to earn funds. Everything he did brought a small feeling of fulfillment, something that he had never experienced before.
After these 6 years of illegal trading, he had finally completed the biochip project. A mere student, in his small apartment, had managed to create the very first improved version of biochip of the world, which could not only store information, but also analyze data. Nevertheless, he died after trying to transplant it into his head.
Indeed, the main reason why no one had managed to create such a biochip before, and the reason why the project had been frozen…Is because of its mortality rate. Every single experimental subject died upon transplantation.
What the world ignored…is that those who died weren't exactly dead.
Indeed, these men and women, numbering in the hundreds, transmigrated in another world, along with their biochips. Of course, be it the experimental subjects themselves or John, they had no way of knowing that there were actually other transmigrated beings in this brand new world, that they were about to discover.
