"If you think I was lying, I swear I wasn't," Eros defended himself. "I wasn't trying to cheat or trick you either." He scrunched his brows, "You know me, Elias, I know better than messing with you."
Elias narrowed his eyes at him and for a moment only stared at him before rising into a standing position. He snapped his fingers and Eros' body appeared yet again. "Your body has been with us all along; the true illusion is that it wasn't."
Eros' eyes widened, but he controlled himself and refrained from getting too excited this time. "I'll return your body to you," Elias started. "Provided that you stop wasting my time and wake Amaira."
"I-It's actually not that simple," Eros nervously started. He averted his gaze from Elias' dark expression and took a breath before explaining, "Amaira isn't dead, but she isn't necessarily alive either. Laying on the couch is her body, but her soul is in a place called the astral plane."
