Chapter 3 - Bumblebee

I woke up from recharge. It was still dark outside. Blitzwing was still awake. He was keeping the fire going. He noticed I was awake.

"Shouldn't jou still be recharging?" He asked.

"None of your business." I said. "How late is it?"

"On Earth terms, I vould say it is almost 3 a.m." Blitzwing said.

"You should recharge." I said.

"Do not tell me vhat to do, bug!" Blitzwing yelled.

"I'm not but you'll need all the strength you can get." I said.

Blitzwing's face changed back to the icy face. He nodded and laid back against the wall. He went into recharge mode. I stayed up and kept the fire going. I looked at my smashed stabilizer.

"I hope Sari's key can fix this." I said to myself.

As hours went by I got bored quite quickly. So I started "talking" to Blitzwing. Telling him what I've been through. Except for what he witnessed and what was top secret. It felt good to talk, even if he didn't hear me.

Finally the sun came up. I went to wake up Blitzwing when I heard something deeper in the cave. I looked towards the darkness and a bear came out and running right towards me. I screamed as it tackled me. It clawed at my chassis, arms, servos, and stabilizers.

It went to claw my helm but it suddenly froze. I looked over and saw Blitzwing. His opticals had a worried look. Even if the rest of his face was expressionless. He shoved the bear off me and leaned down. I looked and saw tones of holes, scratches, and dents.

"Zis is not good. I do not have ze supplies to repair jou." He said.

I tried getting up but instantly regret it. Every part of me hurt. How could this get any worse?

Blitzwing picked me up again. He melted the ice an left. It was cold but not as bad. I kept looking at Blitzwing. He looked really worried. Like he cared about me. But I was his enemy.

"Hey Blitzwing?" I said and he looked at me. "Why do you care so much about how hurt I am?"

He stopped and looked at me straight in the opticals. But he didn't say anything. And he didn't have to. I saw how he felt in his opticals. He didn't just care. He loved me. He leaned in close to my face plate. Without a word, he kissed me. I let him. I actually liked it. I liked him. No........I loved him.

Later

Blitzwing was telling me stories about his life. It was interesting when we were hit by something fast. Blitzwing dropped me and I went into a tree. A scream escaped my lips. Whatever hit us ran to me. I looked and saw Blurr.

"Blurr?" I asked.

"Bumblebee you gotta help me!" He said in his rapid voice. Blitzwing got up. "Blitzwing?!"

"Relax your servos. He's helping me." I said.

"Vhat are jou running from autobot?!" Blitzwing asked angrily.

"Shockwave." Blurr said.

"Oooooo Shockwave is on Earth. How fun!" Blitzwing said. "But Vhy vould he be after jou?"

"Could be because of Shockwave's secret identity?" I said. "Blurr may not know but Shockwave could be scared Blurr will expose him."

"Zis is a possibility. Megatron went to great lengths to keep Shockwave's identity secret." Blitzwing said. "But it still doesn't make sense with him trying to kill the autobot. Not with how he talked about jou."

"I'm not following." Blurr said.

"He likes you zippy." I said trying to get up.

Blitzwing picked me up again. "What?!" Blurr asked.

"Same way I like zis little bug. He melted ze ice in my spark!" Blitzwing said laughing afterwards.

Energon must've rushed to Blurr's face plate. His cheeks had changed to a pink. "Ze autobot is embarrassed." Blitzwing said.
