I took a big sip from my double espresso while keeping my eyes fixed at the pastel blue-haired man drinking his cappuccino four tables away from me. He was cursing at the person on the other side of his phone. Saying that he had just one fucking job, and he fully blew it. That he was a disgrace, and lucky he wasn't firing his ass. But that he would with just one more slip up.
It was still early in the morning. Around seven-thirty, but I've been awake for hours. To be completely honest, I hadn't even gone to bed. I've been up all night, roaming around the empty streets. I couldn't handle anything today – especially the boys. No, not today. So, I did the only thing I could; I packed a bag and left the house the moment I knew everyone was asleep.
