Chapter 31

(Karakura Hospital)

Currently, Errol is walking beside Isshin who suddenly drags him, with him to this place. Errol looks at Isshin and can't finally stop himself from asking.

"Why did you bring me here again?"

Isshin who was walking ahead slow down and look at Errol with a smile. "Well how should I say this, you know about the thing inside my wife's heart, right? That silver clot"

Errol nodded. "So?"

Isshin's smile disappears as he looks forward. "There is another one that experience what happens to my wife"

"So is she a Quincy that lost power as well?" Errol ask.

"Yes, how did you know?" Isshin asked curiously.

"I don't, I am just making a guess," Errol said which is not a lie. But this confirmation also brought him another clue that gives him a lot of questions.

'Some Quincy are losing their power, is this a disease of theirs or did someone make them lose it? Is this an important part of the Arc in the future? Why is there a silver in their heart that rings like a quest Item, like some vampire games and movie's'

He has a lot of questions but he didn't know where to get the answers. He decided to throw it at the back of his mind as it is meaningless to think about it right now.

He could only make some plans, for different scenarios and get stronger to not worry about anything.

"So can you help me?" Isshin asked this time.

"Do I even have a choice, you already pulled me in before I could decide, how can I even deny it now" Errol gives him a deadpan look which made Isshin laugh in sorry.

Errol has no plans in saving everyone as he is not a selfless person like right now, he is in the hospital and with a single Order he could treat everyone around him in an instant. But he doesn't do so as he already heard a lot of stories where someone saves many people but he himself has never had a happy life.

Just look at some superheroes in some comics and you can find a lot of examples of how they just continue to suffer for the sake of some strangers. He prefers to be selfish and just put effort into people around him and enjoy life more than watching others happy life, that he wanted some misfortune falls on them.

Isshin and Errol keep on walking in the corridor of the hospital until they are in front of a door that said Directors' Office. Isshin didn't bother to knock and directly open the door.

"Morning Ryuken, I got a surprise for you!" Isshin loudly announced himself, before a flying pen passed his cheeks.

"Knock the door before you open" A voice that sounded cold sounded inside and when Errol entered, he found Ryuken the father of one of the main characters in the cast sitting at his desk.

"So what are you here for?" Ryuken asks Isshin before his eyes land on Errol, his eyes widen. "Is it...him?"

"Yes, this is Errol Belladona-kun, he's the kid who saved my wife, so don't be a cold man" Isshin said as he crossed his arms. "Belladona-kun, this one here is my friend the one who needs your help, his name is Ishida Ryuken"

Ryuken stand's up from his seat and came over to Errol. He was standing and looking down at Errol that intimidated him a bit before Ryuken's next action surprised him.

"Please save my wife" He bowed his head without any pride or shame. Errol didn't know what to do next as he never had anyone ask him this sincerely before he just said what comes to his head.

"Well...you don't need to bow your head, I already promised Isshin-san that I will help" Errol said uncomfortably, and Ryuken stand's up straight as he didn't want to make the kid uncomfortable with his action.

"You have my thanks," Ryuken said to Errol, although he still isn't sure if his wife can be healed by Errol, he decided to put his trust in his power that removed the same silver from his ex-fiance.

They then fall into silence, as one kid whose communication skills suck and an older man who is having a hard time dealing with a kid even with his own son and can't make proper communication.

Luckily there is someone that broke the silence.

"So are you two just going to get stare at each other or were going to heal your wife?" Isshin asks on the side.

Ryuken and Errol look at him, Ryuken then responded. "Then please follow me"

He walks out of the door and began to go to the private room where his wife Kanae was currently resting. He walks ahead and walked normally, but if someone observes carefully you can see that his walking speed is quite fast like he is anxious.

Errol whose observation skills have increased by a lot these years noticed it and couldn't help but think that this man might be cold on the outside, but he is warm on the inside, especially those that held some special place in his heart.

They arrived at a room that is the farthest from the other private rooms. Ryuken walk's inside, Errol and Isshin followed and what appears before them was a pale woman with long black hair.

Ryuken comes closer and sits beside the bed of his wife, he holds her hand gently as he looks at her. Isshin and Errol didn't interrupt him before finally Ryuken said something.

"This is Kanae, my wife, she has been like this since a month ago. 2 months ago she suddenly lost her strength and in each day her health is getting worse until she could not leave her bed"

Ryuken then turns his head and looks at Errol. "Honestly I thought about doing the surgery in my wife's heart to remove the silver Isshin talked about, but I couldn't take the risk of a mishap in the process due to my mistake and lost her"

"I am still not sure if you could save her, but please..." Ryuken looks at Errol, his face didn't change but Errol could feel the desperation of the man.

Errol looks at Masaki and used an Order with a thought, to give him something like an X-ray vision and saw the same silver that was inside Masaki's heart.

Errol glances at Ryuken and tries to give him a comforting smile. "Don't worry, I solve Masaki-san's problem which is more problematic than this so you can rest assured"

Errol came forward towards Kanae who was lying on the bed and Ryuken stand up to give him space. Errol then took her hands, but before making an Order, he suddenly remembered something.

"Umm, Ishida-san can I ask you something?" Errol ask.

Ryuken looks at him in confusion before responding. "I don't mind"

"What is her full name?" Errol ask.

Ryuken didn't know what it is about but he still answered. " Kanae Ishida is her name now after getting married to me, but before that, her name is Kanae Katagiri"

"Thank You" Errol thank him before focusing on Kanae. With a thought, he used an Order.

[The Silver in Kanae Ishida will be removed carefully while making sure she is not in any danger]

The Order took effect as Kanae's face began to show discomfort, as veins in her chest appears like something is moving. Her face that is sleeping showed some discomfort, which made Ryuken anxious.

Suddenly she woke up and spit a silver clot on her bedsheet.

"Kanae!" Ryuken immediately comes to her side and holds her as she keeps on coughing silver.

"Cough, Cough... Ryuken...." After finally spiting all the silver she slowly looks up and saw her husband worried face.

"It's fine, everything is fine now," He said as holds her so gently like she was some very fragile glass. Errol move back beside Isshin and just looked at them having their moments.

A few minutes later Kanae can be seen sleeping again, the silver might have been removed from her heart but she is still weakened from these 2 months experience.

Although Errol can help her recover immediately but he decided against it after looking at Ryuken who was being gentle to his wife taking care of her every need. He didn't want to ruin their moments so he just let them be.

Outside of the room, Errol, Ryuken, and Isshin can be seen standing.

Ryuken glanced at Errol, he still has his cold face, but this time it felt more gentle and more carefree as if a burden has finally been lifted out of him.

"I won't say thank you, as mere words are not enough to describe how grateful I am, to you Belladona-kun, but I promise you if there is something in the future that you need help, I will be the first person to help you," Ryuken said seriously making Errol felt overwhelmed again.

But after a moment he took a deep breath. "Then I won't hesitate when that time comes"

Ryuken smiled at him and nodded. Isshin on the side felt like he was an extra here, although he was the one to bring Errol here

"Errol? Eh, what are you doing here kid?"

Suddenly Errol heard a familiar voice and turn around to see his grandpa walking toward him. Ryuken and Isshin turn around and saw Orlando.

"Are you Belladona-kun Grandpa? I am very grateful to your grandson he he-" Ryuken was about to explain the situation when Errol suddenly pulled him.

"Please don't say anything, I still have not found the right time to tell my grandpa about my power" Errol whispered to Ryuken ears.

Ryuken who heard his words nodded and was about to make an excuse when suddenly Isshin beats them to it.

"Oh, are you Belladona-kun grandpa? You don't know how grateful I am to your grandson as he helped my wife and son two months ago" Isshin began to chat with Orlando who was surprised by what he is hearing.

Errol was panicking as he hasn't had an idea how to explain his power but luckily, Isshin didn't mention anything about his power.

Isshin, Ryuken, and his grandpa began to chat, and Errol finally found the reason why grandpa is there. Apparently, he has some meeting with the owner of this Hospital which is Ryuken to some business.

Errol's family business is actually quite connected to the Ishida family business. Belladona has a large pharmacy that extends around Asia and Ishida family runs a large hospital in here the Karakura town, they have some meetings today which was why Orlando was here.

Errol then was left alone with Isshin who entertain him about how he should visit his house more and play with his two cute daughters as he only visits after two months, while his grandpa has a meeting with Ryuken. After their business talk, Errol left with Orlando after saying farewell to the two grown men waving at him.

While in the car Orlando can't take away the big smile on his face, at some praises he heard from Ryuken and Isshin about Errol.

While Errol is having a hard time not turning red from the embarrassment, their praises about him just make him want to make a hole and dive in.
