SUZUE
"You're a disgrace!"
CRASH!
The sound of shattering glass echoed around my father's study.
I didn't have to see his face to know that he was mad. Too mad actually for his veins in the neck to appear visibly.
I remembered the scene so vividly, I can't help but scoff and took down the shot of beer in one gulp right after.
It was the last thing I could remember before leaving Europe, dragging myself here.
Takahashi wasn't pleased by my sudden appearance. I didn't mind.
Contrary to what he believes, I'm not here to please him.
My long-time crush on him slowly died along the years that I had stayed in Europe.
Was it because of the handsome men I met after saying goodbye to my old self?
"Pfft," I commented, taking another shot.
Takahashi, this and Takahashi that. I think my father's constant rant on how great he was and who he had become had eventually led to me hating the guy.
I rolled my eyes.
