"What?!" both Astherielle and Nico looked at me incredulously.

"So let me get one thing straight, your sister and that Tanaka girl's sister was connected?"

I nod, taking a light sip from the milkshake Kevin got for me.

We were sitting inside Rhythm with Kevin calling for a meeting.

There was no time to rest. Takahashi had started taking countermeasures which meant that things could get really dangerous moving forward.

The recent encounter was proof of that. And despite having no deaths on our side, I couldn't claim that there were no casualties.

There was.

I knew that it was only the beginning. I have a full journey ahead of me. There would be more encounters and the closer I get to Takahashi, the riskier things would be.
