It was hard to imagine, but I kept my mouth shut. The only Takahashi I know was the one who had killed my family.
I don't think that a glimpse of his past would change my mind about him. I don't think anything can make me change how I see him.
It may be a matter of perspective, but he proved to me time and time again that he was beyond saving.
"Back then, the young lad was polite, silent, and obedient to his mother. Not that he became rude. He still honors his elders. But I think you already know what I mean."
I offered a small smile. Of course, I know what he meant.
Takahashi respects people when he is facing them but, the thing is, he could stab them from behind at any time, any time at all.
What he did to my family was proof of that.
