I turned and in a moment, a ferocious wind overtook me stunning me.

I looked down to see the ice witch was gone. She had broke free of her bindings as if she slipped through them.

A sudden explosion caught my attention. I turned to see a cloaked shadowy figure. Holding the ice witch. Whoever it was had escaped with the ice witch in hand.

I couldn't make them out. Barely I could make it out a trail of magical energy like a serpent.
