JOURNEY TO THE GRASS MANSION

( the guards immediately started dragging her away).

After few minutes the guard accomplined with Akah walked into the castle.

" here he is, your Highness.." he said, pushing Akah down, making him fall on his knees.

Akash gasped the moment he saw Anna standing straight, facing the Royals, at that moment he knew her big mouth has landed her into another problem. this time it was with the Royals.

Anna " Akah called. and what did you think you're doing here.( instead of responding, Anna rushed to hug him tightly.

Dad.. are you okay. did they hurt you, dad

. say something.." she said, exploring his body.

what are you doing here Anna .. " he asked again, ignoring all her questions.

so it's Anna " the queen thought, while the king cleared his throat , making them to realise his presence,"you're free to go Mr,Akah " the king said, this confused akah the more .

bur why. why my king" akah stuttered confusingly .Anna who stood beside her father kept biting her nails and shifting toward the Queen's throne, knowing fully well her father would flare upon anger if he knew the reason for his release.

" your daughter agreed to replace you, and agreed to rotten in the den." the king said.

   what!! Anna do you have a brain tumour, or did some veggies grow in your skull" mr. Akah yelled .

but papa, you're old, but I'm young enough to take care of my self .

   Akah took off his shoes and Aimed at Anna , but she ran to the queen who quickly shielded her.

  see dad I'm going to be the Queen's personal maid." Anna said hapilly .

  Guards, take this young lady to the princess isolation room" the queen ordered, and two guards escorted Anna away, mr,.akah can only zip his lips, knowing that there's nothing he can do about it.

don't worry she will be fine" the queen said.

yes your highness...,'" he said leaving the castle.

  wait I've I turned invisible for you not to notice me all this while..huh, you gave orders without my permission and.....gosh" the king said.but when he received no reply, he rolled his eyes and left the throne room.

no... she got no guts.. I suddenly felt this sudden calmness in my heart , it's been long since I felt it. I never felt this when maltida was given birth to..." the queen said signing  .

I guess she would be useful at the grass mansion" hami suggested,. well since she wants to be a maid so badly, why don't we make her the prince's maid.

my queen, we should give it a try, she can keep an eye on the prince for you, incase any improvement occurs , but if he's a threat then she leaves immediately to her father's place."he assured the queen, hoping he had found the best opportunity to end Anna .

  (the queen thought and agreed it was a great idea, she will make her soon not to feel lonely,maybe she should give it a try."she thought.

The next day, I opened my  eyes lazyly as I  felt someone jumped on my bed" Ahh i moaned , standing up from the bed rubbing my eyes.

  rise and shine Anna.. " I heard a voice said to me. my heart almost shifted to my right rib.

what!! it's the princess. princess maltida, I immediately jumped from the bed bowing down on my knees, who I'm I to stand firm in the front of the Royals, well I once did.

  no need for that," she said with the most cutest smile.dad told me about you, well this is my isolation room, now it'll be more fun.

  wait... that's true, I had already been tired yesterday, and didn't properly study this room, but wooow , this room is bigger than our whole house, there was this king sized bed, the cloth stand, and a mini table set, a large set of vision display. and this room is just painted in two colours blue and pink.

  this is my own dungeon , the queen usually send my here, anytime I did any slight mistake, any way, she doesn't like me,she prefers my brother the prince  than me, she would always complain that I brought her pain and sorrow, but it wasn't my fault you know.

  no wonder.. I guess she and the queen isn't on good side.. cause she called the king her dad and the prince her brother, but she called the queen... Queen." Anna thought..

years after years, when Kyle was born, the king instructed the guards to take him and the queen to the grass mansion, along with the queen the king ordered over a thousand guards and maids to take care of their needs and protect them.

  The king only disallows the queen from going to the grass mansion since the sign has worsen,she would sing lullabies for him to sleep, she continued telling him she would never leave him and that they would overcome together. the prince killed every of the guards and maids sent to him by the king, while some were lucky to survive with serious injury, later on the queen gave birth to maltida and as written, she was in pain and almost lost maltida, doing this process after maltida was born she lost her womb, the queen hated maltida, all she thinks of is the prince, Kyle, while all what the king thinks of is maltida .

  " good morning my princess"the maid bowed, dropping the tray of food. maltida nodded and the maid made her way out, Anna didn't waste much time before descending on the food.

  maltida smiled at her cute behaviour, "she checked the time and her detention was over ." hmmm Anna I have to go, I'll see you later in the day.

"okay. Anna managed to say without sparing  maltida a glance, instead she sat on the bed properly .

Mr.akah was at his house, he was done with  the work he has to do on the farm,he was at the balcony , reading his favourite novel, when he heard a carriage passing. he immediately dropped his novel on the stool , he went out to check  he knew at that moment that it was a royal carriage because  of the crown symbol drown on it

  the queen stepped down , with the help of her personal guard . Gary helped the queen alight from the carriage , the queen saw akah and walked towards him

My mind thought of so many things, why would the queen be here, is Anna dead, what happen, my heart raced more, as she walked to me, and this expression on her face wasn't that giving, I had wanted to start crying, but I have to be a man.

" afternoon Mr . akah, am here to discuss a matter with you. may I be allowed in .

"any matter that disturbs the queen should be settled immediately, you may come in my queen" I said and walked her in.

" take your sit" she ordered and I sat down without hesitation .

  " I apologize my queen, the absence of my daughter as caused me a hug problem , but I have water and ....

" am not here for that,straight to the point, Mr akah I'm sure you know about m y sick son.

" yes my queen, all of zaloden knows about your son .

and I'm sure you know he's very ill and need someone to take good care of him." she asked.

yes, that's why you sent over a hundred maids there.

( why is he playing hard to get )" the queen thought.

yes , but the maids and guards have this free day, which will last five month or more, and there will be no one to take care of him, as a mother, I can't let him feel lonely . so I'll like to plead with you, to allow Anna  help him, since she's already captured by the king, and instead of her dying she can just work as a maid for the prince.

but..bu.t your son can come here and.." I stuttered .

if we hear of anything dangerous we will send her back to you immediately.

hmmm .. yes my queen, but her belongings it's here..

no need for her belongings, it's settled ,

  I'll send a hundred maid and twenty guards to you , they can help you on your farm land. " I'll take my leave now." the queen said standing up, she walked out and again Gary helped her to ascend into the carriage, a minute after she left. as promised a hundred maid and twenty guards bowed to me, I was very happy, but still felt sad, what if the prince kills anna .

The moment the queen got back, she informed the guards to bring Anna.

" the queen wants you." the guard said to Anna, Anna wore her robe and dashed straight to the throne room. she vowed when she saw the queen, and again this monkey man is here.

' my queen, you sent for me.

" yes, I met your father, and he approved to send you to the grass mansion.

reallllllly..."Anna blushed happily..

and why are you blushing" hami, who Anna referred to as monkey man, asked her.

really, your majesty, you know I'll never disobey you, nor disobey your orders" Anna said excitedly ignoring what hami said, making him to glare hard at her, if glaring could kill she would have been dead by now.

" I would love to go pack my belongings at home and greet some of my friends farewell." she asked .

  " no need for that, just go to the room, you'll meet micah , she would your instructor, she'll tell you what you have to do and not do, like the clothes you should wear and not wear.

  really" she said surprised  , am not that kind of a prostitute .

you re leaving today , so meet micah.. you may leave" the queen ordered .

  yes your highness ....

   " something feels off, isn't she supposed to cry and bow , saying she doesn't want to go. ashhh... I really suspect that girl .' hami said looking at Anna leaving  figure suspiciously.

  At noon, elders seated side by side, in front of the queen, the queen just seated   uninterestedly , stareing hard at them, the king wasn't around so she's the one running the kingdom's affairs.

  " my queen, we are here to discuss two important things bothering our minds. first it's the love feast happening in nine months time, and heir to the throne." the oldest elder said  , making the queen roll her eyes.

" the love feast is still a long time , and what about the heir.

" my queen , the king isn't getting any younger, and the prince isn't fit  because of his current situation, so we've decided to match the princess, the princess will be sold and any one who buys her at a higher price will be the king and her husband" the second oldest elder said .

" just like how they sold a woman with no womb to you, just like how you never had any child right," the queen shouted angrily, my daughter will marry her own choice of husband. you're all dismissed . " she said and left the throne room angrily .

Time came for Anna to leave for the grass mansion, Micah kept talking... which made Anna felt uncomfortable .

     Anna pov

when will this woman stop nagging, she has been talking non stop.

" am sure you still remember the rules " micah asked.

es..." I said uninterstedly. as she glared at me with the most deadly glare and immediatly my brain reseted .

yes ma'me .

I'm listening ..." Micah said.

listening to what?" I asked not believing my ears, I hope she's not asking me to recite all those rules....

  1.prepare breakfast, dinner ,and lunch at the appropriate time...

2.wear only purple, red or black clothes.

3.do not enter the door with the red Cross on it.

4.place. his food inside a tray and leave in front of his door, do not knock.

5.noise isn't allowed.

6.do not ever look at the prince in his eyes, bow with respect.

7.do not fall in.. in.. love with him" she said rolling her eyes.

8. do not laugh at the prince .

good" Micah said after Anna recited the whole hundred rules . you can drive now Mr . vera .

After six hours they finally reached the grass mansion, Micah threw Anna's load outside the carriage and pushed her out.

" never break any of those rules, obey my instructions. " Micah shouted.

wait .. won't you at least park in with me" Anna asked.

" you may drive now Mr Vera....

   ashhhhh, she cursed, while she didn't know a eyes has been watching her every move.

wooow..Anna said as she walked in dragging her heavy loads with her.

" how will I know my room, Micah said a black door, all the door her are black, maybe it's upstairs.. she saw many scriptures , " I feel weird and cold, gosh.

  Anna almost fainted when she heard footsteps on the stairs, she immediately turned her back but saw no one , she felt breathing beside her shoulder and before she could look, a hand flung her straight to the wall.

" ahhhhh.. she groaned in pain .. standing on her feets again.

  " this will also die here  haha.." the spirits possessed by the prince shouted .

  the prince took hold of Anna's neck and her foot kept going up , she looked at the prince red eyes and tears flowed down her pretty face , this shook the prince and immediately he got hold of himself  his eye colour changed , when he saw what he did he let go of Anna's neck, making her lose consciousness .....
