Gray glared at him, when Gion didn't know what to do.

Plastic memories popped into Gray's brain.

"This man is like my father, he always wanted to beat my oldest uncle, and when he saw that it was an impossible dream, he started projecting his future onto me.

Prudence left indignantly and Gion left in a rage at being treated like a mere servant.
