Will you marry me?

Ava gathered her dress together as she ran down from the stage to meet Maxwell. He watched her with those seducing eyes of his, making her heart flutter again. She walked up slowly towards him, leaving a few meters away from him.

"Thanks for today. Thanks for saving my life and happiness, thanks for everything." She replied with tears in her eyes.

"My pleasure." He replied to her with a casual smile.

"If there's anything you need me to do, I'll do it for you. How do I repay this favor?" She asked him again. He kept on looking at her. She felt shy as she looked away. The crowd watched them all along.

"I need one favor from you." He said to her,

"Tell me, what's it?" She asked him.

Maxwell went down on one knee. Just then, the lights went off. Everyone was confused and wondered what was happening. A disco light showed up with different colors. Suddenly, a center light appeared on Maxwell. He went down on one knee as he took out a small box and opened it before Ava. A gold and glittering run sparkled brightly with a diamond crystal. It glittered so brightly in the dark. It was an expensive ring. Everyone awed in surprise including Ava.

"In all the years of my life, no woman has ever touched my heart the way you do. In all the years of my life, no woman had ever won me over. Your smiles brightens my day and your tears saddens my heart. Your smile melts my heart and your tears break my heart. I want to be with a woman who makes me happy, a woman who makes me feel loved, a woman who has a nice and caring heart. A woman who makes my heart flutter with her sweet smiles, a woman with a big kind heart. I've found that woman and it's you Ava, please will you marry me?" Maxwell proposed to her there and then.

Ava was lost of words, she didn't know what to say. She was mesmerized and completely surprised. She had tears streaming down her eyes. The center light was on her also as everyone saw her. She covered her mouth with her hands. Her sister was also speechless but happy for her. It was such a stunning moment.

"Yes…yes I will marry you…" Ava said with a tear filled voice. Just then, a light music began to play as everyone cheered in excitement. Ava stretched her hand in excitement. Maxwell removed Sebastian's ring and crushed it on the floor then he slid his ring into her finger as balloons, flowers and glitters fell on top of them.

It was such a wonderful time. Maxwell hugged her as he placed one hand on her waist and the other, on her cheek and kissed her passionately on the lips. After being in that position for about three minutes, she separated herself from him.

"Shall we?" He said to her as she nodded happily. He led her to the altar with his hand wrapped around her waist. Everyone clapped for them in excitement while some, who couldn't hold back the flow of emotions cried. Julie had tears streaming down her cheek as she clapped in excitement for her sister. Maxwell helped her with her dress to get on the stage.

Someone tucked at her to help her sister as she was lost. She went quickly to help Ava get on the altar. She bent down to help her with her dress while Maxwell held her hand as he waited for her to get up before going after her on the stairs.

They stood at the altar where the vow taking was to be done. Eric came up quickly and gave the priest two boxes of rings as he stood behind Maxwell while Julie stood behind Ava. Maxwell nodded at the priest. Everyone settled down on their seats as they waited one excitement.

"Wow…I'm really out of words to say right now. I've only seen this in a movie but since I started joining couples in holy matrimony, I've never seen such. A broken marriage and a happy one…a wedding that ended, shattering the hearts of everyone and leaving the bride heartbroken but just then, her savior came around. I'm lost for words.

I bless this ring in the name of the Father, the Son and the Holy ghost. May this ring continue to be lubricated by the love of this couple, may this ring not bring a scar to their hearts, may it not rust but always sparkle till eternity. And we say Amen!" The priest blessed the ring as everyone chorused an "amen" as they clapped.

"Is there anyone who is against this marriage? Speak now or forever remain silent!" The priest asked the normal question before the vows were to be exchanged. There was no one speaking so the priest assumed they could go on. Eric whispered into the ears of the priest something which the couple suspected to be his full name.

"Will you take Mr. Maxwell Evans to be your husband, to live together in holy marriage? Will you love him, comfort him, honor, and keep him in sickness and in health, and forsaking all others, be faithful to him as long as you both shall live?" The priest asked Ava.

"Yes, I do." Ava replied with sweet smiles on her face as she looked directly into Maxwell's eyes. He still kept that seducing look on which penetrated through her heart. Everyone cheered after she had taken her vows.

"Will you take Ms. Ava Smith to be your wife, to live together in holy marriage? Will you love her, comfort her, honor, and keep her in sickness and in health, and forsaking all others, be faithful to her as long as you both shall live?" The priest asked Maxwell.

Maxwell was quiet longer than expected. He fixed his eyes into Ava's, as though he was going through her heart from his stare. Ava's heart fluttered at first but she began to get scared that he would turn her down.
