A DOZEN

Bryce gave a specific time to to the 12 to their most recent people, it is as to not raise the awareness of the possible mole in the two towns. It also helped to not put the townspeople in fear as not a whole group of people are being questioned at the same time. For the next 1 month all of the 12 people were questioned and some of them were interrogated in the sheriff's office's interrogation room, while some others were interrogated on the spot.

The first people that came into their town were interrogated in the sheriff's office. Harry was the one who interrogated them directly while Bryce sat behind him and Randall listens behind the two way mirror. Harry asked a few questions that they never asked to all of them.

"Hello Laurie, sorry for calling you and your husband so suddenly"

"Its fine Mr. Cramer, I've heard about the wheels, and I'm here to answer any questions that you have. Clear the suspicions that you guys have"

"You understand, that's good"

Randall and a former stenographer, Pauleen. Who listens and type every single word said throughout the whole sessions. Harry cleared his throat and started to ask the questions that he has prepared.

"Okay. Let's start, these are some of the questions that we never have asked you when we first encountered you..."

"Sure"

"Have you ever had any encounters before meeting us?"

"No, none.. it was only me and my husband"

"What was the last place that you guys have stopped on before getting into Woodville?"

"Winchester"

"Did you encounter anyone in that city?"

"Not that I know of"

"Any one have any... 'ill-feelings' when you left?"

"None, when we found out that they were heading south to Mexico we broke off from their group"

"And tha-"

"Yes, there was no bad feelings, they understood our reasons heading to Michigan"

"Okay"

Harry asked more questions to Laurie for the next 30 minutes, after she finished she called in her husband. He asked the same simple questions that he asked her, then Harry started asking him the harder questions.

"So, Riley, have you ever seen anyone back in Winchester... suspicious let us say a hooded man?"

"Well, yeah he had a weapon"

"A grenade launcher by any chance?"

"No, not that I remember"

"Oh"

"Well...but, it was heavy"

"Heavy?"

"Yeah, when we were cornered someone on top of a building started to light those biters up, he managed to clear the small swarm"

"Really, did they threaten you?"

"No, but they gave us these?"

He handed a piece of cloth with a painted insignia. The design of the black skull is rigid, it seemed that it has been wet when this specific drawing was painted. There is something sinister that he felt as he stared at this specific skull.

"This is it?"

"Yeah, nothing else, he threw the cloth down then disappeared"

"So, nothing?"

"Yeah, but I can't sit tightly, they might be dangerous"

"Hopefully not"

"Thank you"

Riley shook hands with Harry and left with his wife. Harry expressed their gratitude and asked them not to tell what they talked about. After the couple their suspicion about the 'hooded man' has risen once more. Bryce mentioned Niall as he had the most 'interaction' with the hooded man. They asked him after questioning the twelve people.

The next 7 for the next 3 weeks. The people had nothing anymore things to say, and the only common thing they mentioned witnessing a man in a hood but no interaction. Harry also asked them to describe what they look like, the same 'common' description. Caped or hooded figure, carrying a heavy type of weapon, 'creepy' small mannerisms. The height is one of the things that could have been a clarification that it is a different person, but they cannot tell. They always stood on top and they can never tell their true height.

Randall, Bryce, and Harry started to theorize what is these people. The same one person or in the same on group. Harry cannot stop looking at the skull that Riley gave him, Laurie cleared up any suspicion that developed that she was knocked out. The reason they were saved by the hooded figures.

Harry sat by the benches near the interview as someone starts to creep up on him.

"Nice skull"

"Oh, Dylan.. two of them are ready, except for Billy... still asleep"

"Oh, well lets go"

"Sure"

Harry followed Dylan to their rooms, He got in the rooms and he checked to make sure that no one can hear or see them. They shook hands and they started to talk. The three men that are in the infirmary were in a recent incident that seemed unnatural but it was proven how natural it was by Dylan. Toby, Craig, and Bryce are looking at the recent damages.

"Well, the wall is in a bit of a problem"

"Yeah"

Some of the people at the other side of the wall called on Toby and Craig. 'Toby, you gotta see this", one of the man called on him and they see the three that has fallen down. They noticed how the tree has been unnaturally cut, suspicion aroused about the man who told them it was natural.

"So, none, yeah... I never got to see someone"

"Okay, thank you.. get well"

He interviewed the two and they have nothing to say that would point that they are the mole. Harry sees the tree talking to Dylan and so he approached them, he can overhear them talking about his answer. Harry took his time waiting for how the conversation will go but Bryce noticed him anyway. Toby continued to talk.

"Well doc.. the section of the wall that was damaged had no house near it, and you immediately said that the-"

"The tree was going to be cut down, no once expected it to break off"

"Well-"

"What's happening here?"

"Oh, Toby had some suspicion and I'm just clearing it up"

"Is it cleared up now?"

"yeah, my fault on that, everyone is on edge"

As they are talking about the recent issue another one came up. One of the nurse called on Dylan and mentioned that Billy, the last person that is to be interviewed is dead. Dylan, Harry, and Toby ran immediately to the room and to see the man unresponsive. He looks like he was killed by poison and papers are on top of his corpse.

Bryce during the commotion grabbed one of the paper and looked at. His expression seemed to have changed into something much more 'scared'. He started to look for Niall on Woodville, the gates opened and he asked where Niall is, but he is not there. Niall is still on his run looking for supplies, and he seems to be in a bit of a problem.

Niall is holding on to Lee who is knocked out, she has a wound on her head. He is being gunned down by someone, he pants heavily afraid and tired. The other people that was with him has also been knocked out and is tied up. Niall seems to be waiting for the gun to be fired, his eyes glared to the hooded figure who aimed a revolver in between his eyes.

Bryce is sitting by himself tired and has given up on finding Niall. Someone approached him he looked up.

"Are they coming?"

"Looks like it"

"I'm sorry, I should leave"

"No, we're all in this"

Randall called a meeting with the other heads of committee except for Kayla who is on a supply run. Not knowing of what is happening on a unincorporated community of Bentoville.
