Damien, shirtless and shoeless, sweating, training in the middle of the woods. You can see the scars on his body, each with a history. He's doing very fast-paced pushups. He's stone-faced, and only his hair dances down and up.

His chiseled and muscular body progresses through the routine and hard practice he does every day.

-After a few minutes-

Damien walks to a branch, which he hangs onto and lifts his body up and down in a huge and fast interval. Sweat pouring off him. His face hasn't changed position, and he's just breathing at the same interval. His palms are already scuffed to the flesh, but he doesn't care. He's just practicing and practicing.

This reminds him of another memory

-Damien's Room

━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━

Six-year-old Damien is practicing in his room. He does pushups, and every pushup he does is hard. But he's trying with all his might. There's a book under his head that he's reading. You can see on his face the pressure he's carrying throughout his body.

The book was about the Black Crown, which described the whole story of this most famous mysterious thing.

---

The majestic crown that rules them all.

A majestic piece of mighty divine metal that holds the soul of the child of the god Terik.

A crown that can change the future and the past.

The blackest, like the soul of the Child of God Terik.

He was transformed into this thing as an answer for the sins he committed.

And the way to it will be given to those who forgive themselves and erase the sins deep in their souls.

Just then, the God Terik appears and shows the way to the Majestic Black Crown.

---

Damien falls to the ground on the next pushup, head on the book. His body has already reached its peak. He gets heavily to his knees and looks down at his palms, which are bruised and red.

"Forgive yourself of your sins?" Damien smiles and lowers his hands.

"Bullshit." He says and stands up.

He goes to the cupboard which he opens, throws out all the things that were hanging out of it, and hangs himself on the rod by which the things were hanging and starts to lift himself up and down with difficulty.

Up

"I'll prove..."

Down

Up

"To my father."

Down

It is very hard to go up with its body, but finally, it rises with all its strength.

Up

"That I'm capable!"

~Knock Knock~

Damien starts immediately throws his stuff back into the closet, and quickly puts on his shirt.

"Come in!" Damien shouts, waiting by the closet, which he closes. He glances at the door, which opens to reveal a young, blond boy with green eyes.

The young heir to the Imperial Throne of the Herlin Empire - Shah Harlin. He was the same age as Damien.

"Hello, Damien. May I come in?" He asks respectfully.

Damien bows slightly.

"You are the Emperor's heir. You can do anything." Says Damien.

Shah smiles and enters.

"Enough with the pleasantries." Shah starts to walk around the room and notices a book on the floor. He walks over to it, picks it up, and looks at the cover.

"Black Crown?" Shah asks.

Damien walks over to the chair where he sits down. Shah looks at him.

"I hear you don't believe in that. I'm surprised you read about that." Says Shah.

"I don't believe. Why should I?" Damien asks negatively.

Shah smiles.

"It's like a deity to us."

"No one has ever seen them, but they believe in them," Shah replies.

"I don't believe in gods or the Black Crown," Damien replies.

Shah walks over to Damien, puts the book down, and sits down across from him.

"The majestic Crown lying on the Black Continent, which my father conquers."

"And your father is helping him," Shah replies.

"All that bloodshed for a myth?" Damien asks.

"And that's why."

"Do you think all this bloodshed is for the sake of a mere myth?"

"Since I've been eavesdropping on your father, he even found some papers about the Black Crown on the Black Continent," Shah says, getting Damien's attention.

"After they conquered the southern part of the continent, documents about the Black Crown were found in some city, excuse me, I don't remember the name."

"There's mention of her being spotted." Shah says, surprising Damien.

"Spotted?" Damien says in surprise.

Shah smiles.

"Yes. But the more mysterious part is that that's where the documentary ended."

"Nothing about what the Crown looks like or who that was seen with." Says Shah.

"So a fake?" Damien replies.

"Or the truth," Shah replies immediately.

Shah gets to his feet.

"Anyway, if our fathers don't find the Black Crown..."

"We'll be the ones to find that, Damien," Shah says confidently.

"And once we find it, we will restore peace throughout the world!"

"I promise you that here, in this place." Shah says, surprising Damien.

Shah will go to the door.

"I'm sorry. I stopped by for a few moments. We're leaving now."

"Anyway, don't forget my words, Damien."

"Bye," Shah says, closes the door behind him and leaves.

Damien plays his words over and over again. He looks at his palms, which don't feel so sore anymore, and goes to practice again.

Damien gets to his feet.

"We'll see." He says and walks over to the biggest tree he can see.

"We'll see..."

"If you keep your promise Shah!"

Damien punches a tree.

~Tremble~

It leaves a huge hole in the tree, everything behind it has disappeared. A big hole.

The tree falls to the ground.

-Boundary between Waatia Province and Kesritia Province-

-An hour later-

━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━

In the evening, the caravan stands at a crossroads where a tent has opened up, guarded by over 20 imperial soldiers.

One of the soldiers starts talking to the other.

"I didn't expect the Emperor to send his youngest son to manage the half-decayed city of Waatia." Says one of the soldiers.

"After all, the young master has been annoying our Emperor for quite some time."

"After all, it all started when the Emperor decided to deal with House Zeen."

"That is where the young master's revolt began." The other replies.

"Yes, but to give him such a punishment?" The first soldier asks.

"Why did the Emperor decide to kill the entire Zeen family?" He completes the question with a question.

"Because-"

"You're supposed to be guarding, not talking!" The head guard and commander of the young Lord, Tirius Gahan, starts yelling at them.

The soldiers immediately stand at attention, and the commander walks over to them.

A very tall, black-haired man with brown hair carrying two swords. He had a chiseled face, and huge shoulders. He dwarfed the two soldiers with his size.

They both get slapped.

"If this happens again, your pay will be reduced!" Tirius said firmly.

"Sorry, Commander!" They both apologize at the same time.

A young blond man comes out of the tent smiling.

"You don't have to be so hard on them, Tirius."

The soldiers immediately kneel, and even Tirius bows.

"In such boredom, there is nothing to do but talk."

"Shah, I suggest you go back to your tent for your own safety," Tirius says, straightening up.

"Oh, please. Who would attack us at this moment."

"People have other things to do than kill the son of the hated Emperor." Shah replies.

"But sir, we are entering to Waatia. Here the people are most prejudiced against you." Tirius replies.

Shah looks at him.

"And you wonder at them?"

"When my father deprived them of the King, and the House of Zeen?" Shah said.

Shah laughs ironically.

"And only because of the Black Crown."

"To throw away friendship, and cooperation, for the Black Crown."

"My father was always like that." Shah replies.

"In the end, I'm glad he sent me to administer this province."

"I have to compensate them for all they have lost. Even if they never forget the shame and pain we have caused them, I must make it a little easier for them." Says Shah.

He'll look to the heavens. A beautiful night, with beautiful stars that gently illuminate the whole area.

"I wonder how you are up there?"

"Damien." Shah says to himself.

-Morning-

━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━

Damien gets out of bed, gets dressed and ties his hair up.

He looks in a broken mirror, in a crumbling building.

He looks into his turquoise-blue eyes, which are still shining in the light darkness.

"I wish you knew, Father, that our eyes have some use." Says Damien.

He runs his palm in front of him, and his eyes stop glowing. He's just plain blue eyes now.

He's coming out of a half-decayed building. He hears birds singing and sees light coming from the trees, which immediately shines in his face.

"Today begins..."

"My quest for the Black Crown..."

"And above all, my revenge."

To be continued...
