Chapter 123

"Hmph! Baka Yuno! getting all the attention," Asta couldn't help but grumble as he looked around.

One thing that both the brothers were more worried about right now was one man, their big brother who was supposed to be here for them.

"Looks like captain William will be getting another capable magic knight in his ranks after this day," The announcement by the host brought Asta out of his thoughts as he waited for his turn, it didn't take long before it was finally his turn.

"Oh! It's the brute with incredible physical strength, Asta,"

Asta yelled at the host for making fun of him as he stiffly walked out of the crowd and onto the centre with baited breaths as he awaited for the captains to raise their hands,

It only made him feel despair when he saw that no one was doing it, the crowd stared jeering at him, calling him useless and stuff as no one raised a voice for him,

Though just as Asta was about to break down, Yami smirked as he felt a familiar presence near him, a presence of power

"hmph! You are back to see your brother," Yami spoke, as even he didn't know Robin would be done with his mission so soon,

"Yeah,"

While the two were having a nice chat, the surrounding people, who included the magic squad captains were white with fear as they looked at Yami's right and noticed Robin who looked like some average joe, but exuded the feeling of someone stronger.

The people on stage couldn't even move in fear while those that were laughing just moments ago were foaming at the mouth as Robin addressed everyone

"So who here thinks my brother is worthless, come and have a taste of my presence," Robin's words were enough to make the nobles foam with anger as they could hardly stand with the support of their magic power, which further intensified the pressure on them, making them kneel as he flew towards Asta and gave him a bear hug.

"haha! I knew my brother would make a great magic knight, who here dares to bully my brother when they can't even take on my pressure unlike my brother," Robin smirked as he gave a glance to the vice magic captains standing by their captain's side, barely hanging.

'That will teach them,' thought Robin as he looked around for Yuno, Seeing him hiding among the crowd, he couldn't help but grow a tick mark on his forehead.

'Here I am showing everyone not to mess with my brothers and he is busy hiding himself,'

"Oi Asta, It's alright if no one wants to take you in, you have the black bulls with you, I want you to take that conviction of yours and show them how it's done," Robin said as he patted Asta on the back.

Giggling as he saw Yami angrily looking at him with a death glare, probably pissed that he didn't consult with his captain and decided things by himself again.

Asta who was in despair couldn't help but look at his brother and his amazing presence as he slapped the faces of several big wigs, even Yuno was proud, but his situation might become a little worse if he gets recognised by Robin here and the people of Golden dawn will not be lenient with him, he was already taking a risk by choosing to work under William vengeance.

While Yuno was busy thinking, he didn't notice the crowd part ways as a hand grabbed him by the shoulder and pulled him into a hug.

"Ugg"

"There you are! My sweet little brother, I was calling you out but you didn't answer me, Does Little Yuno thinks he has all grown up now and won't accept gifts from him," Robin teased as he saw Yuno cough in embarrassment.

He knows Yuno loves him but has grown rather reclusive and is afraid to show it, in simple terms, he is a tsundere.

"Oi! You idiot, talk outside of the stage if you want to, stop bothering the other contestants," Yami yelled as he threw a black slash at Robin from above.

"Alright then Yuno, I will come to visit you tomorrow, for now, I am taking Asta with me, be sure to tell me if anyone bullies you," Robin said as he gave a cold glance at William vengeance and the one behind him.

William only smiled in return and didn't say anything at the blatant threats, Robin took Asta's hands and they both disappeared from the place as the black slash left a gash in the ground.
