I tried sending mana all around to sense the total area but it absorbed mana like a black hole without giving any result.

" This place is retained by absorbing mana from the outside ".

We moved flew to the next floating landmass but as soon as we landed some small creatures with masks appeared out of thin air and started shooting arrows of fire, ice, and lightning. With one swipe from my mana-formed sword, they turned to ash but the mana from them returned to the ground. These were begins made of mana, we concluded.

As we moved ahead we were attacked by similar monsters some larger, some smaller, some with a sword, or some with an ax or shield. Every time they died, their mana returned to the ground.

Some large doors in our paths would only be opened by stepping on specific tiles, which took some time. We solved the puzzles taking their time because natural dungeons don't usually collapse after being explored, so it's a chance that they can be entered later on. This place contains a lot of history so it's beneficial to the Heart Kingdom this kingdom is peace-loving and has an alliance with Clover to some degree so we can benefit from it too. Every time we solved a puzzle we were shown some inscriptions or writings we could not infer. I tried seeing them with Sharingan but still no extra information. Most of the structures were made from a rock never seen before. These rocks crumbled to dust if broken from the main structure and reformed as before but only to the degree, we saw before as if the structures don't want to repair themselves to their prime.

After killing some more monsters we reached the tower that illuminated the surrounding. As we entered the tower we were presented with 4 spatial doors. As we decided to stick together we all entered the same door but the mage with the spatial mage could not enter. The only conclusion was that because out of all of us he didn't have natural magic like fire, water, etc. He was told to wait at the entrance as we all entered the door and found ourselves in a tunnel with inscriptions all-around all written in ancient dialect. After walking about an hour he reached a similar door but as we passed through the door we were back at the entrance from where the spatial mage was waiting.

" I think each door symbolizes a magic type. There is a total of 4 magic types among us so I think a similar type of mage should select a door. "

All of them agreed to my suggestion and divided into groups. I in one (fire ), Randall in one ( Wind ), Gadjah in one (electric ), and finally the two heart mages expect the spatial mage. (Water ) .

I entered through the door and found myself in a similar tunnel but with a different inscription. As I kept walking the temperature of the area kept rising, after a while in front of me lay a red gate from where all the heat came. I entered the gate and found that we were in a large endless chamber and a circular platform which was surrounded by streams of lava flowing from the roof at the middle of the chamber lay a big tree with red leaves. The roof had thorn-shaped rocks ready to fall at any moment.

Although I had pretty high fire resistance I am sure that I would die if I fall into the lava. I applied mana skin to be safe.

With KI I could sense that the tree was part of something big and sure enough as soon as I took a few steps the ground started shaking and started to break from where the tree lay. The cracks intensified as the tree grew larger while lava emerged from the ground surrounding the tree forming a shape. What came in front of me could be said as a giant fat four-legged dragon with two large curly horns, large spikes on its back and finally the tree I saw earlier as its tail. Lava flowed from different parts of his body with its legs completely made of lava rock. The dragon opened its eyes and released a horrendous roar followed by a wave of mana pressure.

I covered my ears with a layer of mana so that they doesn't get ruptured that's how dangerous the roar was. I unleashed my mana pressure to counter it creating a clash of wills making the flow of lava around turbulent.

As soon as the beast made eye contact with me it froze stopping all its movements as eyes turned red but the next second it turned normal as it instantly got out of my control. Seems like the power of my eyes are not strong enough to control the dragon yet.

With KI and mana sense I could tell that this dragon would give me a hard time. [kagune ] started forming [ rob of chaos ] as I dashed towards him forming a sword of mana in my hand.

The dragon stomped its front foot causing a mini earthquake, my instincts screamed at me so I jumped. The place I was standing exploded followed by an outburst of lava.

I shot the orb of chaos towards it, it coated its tail which was like a tree with lava and tried to slap the orbs but it underestimated the power behind the orbs. The orbs managed to completely disintegrate a large chunk of its tail and back. The dragon releveled earth-shattering roar as it seemed with pain. In normal conditions by attack should not be able to hurt the dragon but my flames directly burned away its mana that's the source of its power.

I slash my mana sword towards its legs creating a large wound but instead of blood what came out was lava. The dragon rotated its body like top throwing lava everywhere in the field. An orb condensed in my hand as I threw it towards its back, but as soon as it came in contact with its back this orb didn't explode instead they created turned into spikes stabbing them in the beast's back.

I am not finishing the battle quickly because I want to see what else can it do. I rarely see a beast completely made of mana like the spirits. The dragon opened its mouth and released a beam towards the roof, as soon as it did that the spikes in the roof turned red and started to drop like a shower of lava. I either destroyed them with [a wave of flames ] or blocked them with [blaze shield ].

I kept sending low power spells at it for the next couple of minutes and see what it does.

By now the entire circular platform was submerged in lava. Its body was made from lava so doing internal damage was useless, after checking all its abilities I found that even there was so much lava all around the dragon cannot heal itself, its attack is deadly but as long they don't hit I am safe, fortunately, I can fly or my legs would have been melted by lava by now.

Well, time to get serious now.

With a wave of my hand, the entire dragon was set on fire with red flames, the dragon had a lot of mana so it would take time to burn it this way but I didn't let it take damage continuously throughout the battle. Kagune on my back hardened with their tip becoming sharp as a sword, I zoomed towards it stabbing two daggers in its eye sockets while kagune or my back cut off its horns.

A blast of lava was sent forward from its mouth but I was already gone from my position, with another strong slash half of its tail was destroyed making a shower of lava. Sword made of mana formed in my hands as I started destroying each spike on its back along with Kagune dealing additional damage. The dragon tried jumping in the river of lava to escape but was stopped as tentacles made of flames emerging from the platform were holding him in its place. I slide beneath and create a giant slash on its lower body and sever one of its legs with another movement. I repeated the same process severing all of its limbs and finally its head destroying it.

As the dragon was killed, all its body parts shined and turned into light particles attaching to my body. As I sensed no danger from it so I let it be me. Those light particles filled my body with different energy and formed diamond shape marks on the front of my palm along with an influx of information entering directly into my mind. I closed my eyes and felt the flow of energy with KI till it moved and got absorbed into my core and cells.

I could feel my flames getting stronger along with my flame resistance to a whole new level. Earlier I didn't dare touch the lava directly but now I felt like I could swim in lava without getting burned. To test it I dropped into the lava river near me, I could feel the hotness of the lava but my body was safe.

The pattern in my hand was another reward that allowed me to absorb mana from my surrounding to fill its mana reserves instantly without waiting to fill it naturally. This was useless for me as I could do that already but the special thing about this seal is that I could pass on this power to someone else with fire magic. I had already decided whom to give this power.

I also got two fire-type spells that were useless to me as I had a more powerful version of those. The good thing was that I could donate these spells to someone else too.

As I was thinking about how to get out of the chamber a black portal opened in front of me. I entered through the portal and found I was back in the place I started from with everyone waiting.
