Chapter 1• Youth
27th February (Thursday), 6 PM
Squeaking of shoes and the loud booming music could be heard in the room along with the boy's panting.
The squeaking suddenly stops. "Sorry, could you play the music again, hyung?" The teenage boy said while panting.
"How many times do you have to repeat, Jimin-ah? You're doing so great already." said Jung Hoseok, Jimin's dance teacher.
Jimin was going to take place in a dance competition and he was stressing out his body since he wanted to win it so badly.
"As a teacher who has taught you for more than 5 years, I think you don't need more practice. I think you need more rest. You look like you're going to faint anytime." Hoseok said, you could tell that he was worried just listening to his voice. He replayed the music anyways, still worried about his pupil whether he would faint the next second.
Jimin reacted as soon as soon as the music played.

Jimin has started dancing way back and Jung Hoseok, as known as Jimin's dance teacher and inspiration, has taught him since then. Even though Hoseok was only a few years older than Jimin, he was still good enough in dancing to teach him some moves. Since Hoseok has taught him for a long time, he understands Jimin's passion for dancing. Out of all of the students he's taught, Jimin was the most hardworking person. He wanted everything to be perfect, as if he had an obsession over perfection. He won't rest until he does something perfectly the way he wants. As a close friend, Hoseok was afraid that he would push himself too much and get sick.

The Day Of the Competition
5th March (Wednesday), 8 AM
Jimin was so nervous that he hadn't been able to sleep last night. He has arrived at the venue and his heart was beating so hard the only thing he could hear was his heart beat, beating against his eardrums like a drum.
He went to the information table and got his number stuck on his shirt before going to take a seat.
He sat there nervously as he watched the other competitors dance on the stage moving their bodies to the beat as the music played loudly. To be honest, they were quite good. And that thought made Jimin much more nervous.
"Next! Number 113!" One of the judges said. Jimin flinched and froze for a moment before he came back to reality and walked up the stage. He stood there and waited for the staff to cue the music.
The music started playing and he started dancing to the beat. It went quite nicely, until he started to feel dizzy and as if he couldn't breathe.
The last thing he felt was something hard hitting against his head. Then everything went black.
