Chapter 44

“Mrs. Santorre, please bring me some coffee for Tom and I in my study. Robbie will have tea with Brian in the kitchen.” Tom followed Bear into his study. The room was very masculine, filled with books and two wing chairs and a leather sofa. Bear directed Tom to sit in one while he went to sit at his desk.

“This is a copy of a standard contract. You know what it contains. He’ll put a Y when he finds something he’d like to try, an M for maybe and an X for something he never wants to do. You told me last night you wanted a term of three months. Standard for a first contract is six.” Bear had a notepad and was writing down what Tom said.

“Can you ask him if we can have six months?” Tom said as he sipped his coffee.

“I’m sure six months will be fine because I know that eventually, you both will want an open-ended contract.” Bear wrote something down on his pad.

“Will you keep him nude around the house?” Bear asked in a mild tone of voice.
