Ch. 13 Part 2
He glanced at Yu ger who was looking back at him shyly, he pulled Yu ger into his embrace before kissing him lightly and the lips. "goodnight Ayu, see you tomorrow" he whispered caressing Yu ger's flushed cheeks. Yu ger hummed softly and embraced not daring to look up at his face, he chuckled lightly before place a kiss on Yu ger's hair before walking to the door. Yu ger's tender eyes were focused on his back, he climbed on the back only after Lin Yu'an left and closed the door. Yu ger giggled belated as he tucked himself and the kids well, he felt his night was going to be filled with sweet dreams of Lin Yu'an.

The next morning at doctor Xia's medicine shop, Lin Yu'an arrived early to see Olive and Butch about the alcohol business. He greeted and chatted a little bit with doctor Xia before heading to see Butch. "it's good to see you again doctor Lin" Olive extended his hand and they shook as he said enthusiastically. "good to see you too" he replied calmly and indifferently. He walked over to Butch who was leaning against the bed headboard. "doctor Lin" Butch called and nodded, Lin Yu'an returned him back with a nod.
Lin Yu'an quickly set up the tools he brought to work with and sterilized them, he sanitized his hands and wore a face mask and gloves before he uncover the bandage revealing the wound which had long closed and had started healing well. "how are you doing today?" he asked as he took the pincer and surgical scissors and started to remove the stitches. "I'm recuperating well doctor Lin" Butch answered honestly "i no longer feel the pain much" he added and Lin Yu'an nodded.
After removing the stitches he took care if it and bandaged it again. He used the stethoscope to feel his heart beats and checked his pulse, Lin Yu'an nodded satisfied seeing that there was no longer any problem and Butch could be discharged. "everything is looking normal and steady, but i must warn you even though the wound is healing well and you can now move around. Do not make any excessive movements or it might open up again, be careful with your body for a few more weeks. You can be discharged today." Lin Yu'an said to Butch in a professional tone. Butch nodded to his every words intending to follow and do everything Lin Yu'an said. "it'll be best for you to let a doctor see the wound for you once every week and change the bandage, but unfortunately I wouldn't be available so you'll have to get another doctor to be seeing for that until the wound completely heals."
Lin Yu'an added. Olive wasn't happy hearing that "doctor Lin we don't want any doctor but you" Olive expressed his dissatisfactions to him, they believed that there was no doctor who was far more talented than Lin Yu'an. They'll rather Lin Yu'an treated Butch until the wound heals completely. Lin Yu'an didn't take Olive's rude words badly, he understood his concerns but they was nothing he could do since he had already taken another case and had to leave for the county a few days time. "I'm really sorry but that wouldn't be possible, i took another case in the county a few weeks ago but because i was treating Mr.Abraham i had to delay my departure to the county to see the patient. I can't postpone it anymore more, you'll have to get another doctor to be seeing. You can also have doctor Xia take over, he has seen me work several times and could do the re-changing of the bandage. Besides you're no longer in a dangerous situation so you'll be fine."
Lin Yu'an apologized and assured. He was partly at fault here to so he knew he owed them an apology, since he took Butch's case he was to treat him until the wound is completely healed. Butch smiled hearing his explanation "doctor Lin then there's no need to find another doctor, we're also heading for the county after here so why don't you go join my fleet" Butch suggested. "thats right, it'll save us a lot of troubles" Olive added. Lin Yu'an arched his brows glancing at Butch lightly, he thought about it for a while and agreed. "when are you taking off?" he asked them. "since i got discharged today, i was thinking about taking off the next day What about you?" Butch answered and asked him.
"Can you take off the day after tomorrow? i have to organize myself and my family, we're going together." he replied. "then the day after tomorrow it is" Butch agreed without a second thought. Well it didn't matter to Lin Yu'an whatever transport he takes to the county, and since their offering him a free ride why would he choose to give up and go pay up boarding on a small boat when there's a bigger ship. "then we'll wait for doctor Lin at the docks with a boat. The ships are docked about 10 minutes boat ride from here since the ships can't be docked here." Olive said in delight, Lin Yu'an nodded. He cleaned up his working tools and put them back into the bag, he took out two wine jars from the bag.
"Mr. Abraham, i brought the samples of the wines. Let's settle about the alcohol business i mentioned before." Butch was stunned, he didn't actually take Lin Yu'an's words about the alcohol business seriously. He thought Lin Yu'an just mentioned it that day without any intention of really going through with it. He gave Lin Yu'an an astonished and complicated look, he open the cork of the wine. Strong fruity alcohol smell filled the room as soon as the cork was taken out, smelling the alcoholic fragrance in the air they were shocked. "one with more alcohol and the other with less, brewed it myself." Lin Yu'an gloated ignoring their stunned gazes. "have a taste" he said and passed the wine to Butch who took it unceremoniously, he brought the wine to his nose and sniffed before tasting. He did that to both wine jars before passing them to Olive who also took and tasted.
"What do you say? Good for business right?" Lin Yu'an said not giving them a chance to dwell in the taste of the wine, he already knew that he's wine was the best so he didn't need them to tell him, he just needed to know their stand on the business proposal. "Doctor Lin..... No Mr. Lin, I'm interested in your business proposal" Butch decided at once with Olive supporting his decision, they didn't need to think about this much since it was already obvious that the alcohol would sell very well. They could already see ahead how Lin Yu'an's alcohol business would be known all over. Lin Yu'an smirked "Mr. Butch is already agreeing without hearing what exactly the business proposal is, since Mr. Butch is putting his trust in me then i won't cheat or disappoint you." Lin Yu'an said honestly. Butch smiled knowing that he wasn't wrong about this doctor Lin "i know Mr. Lin wouldn't. Let's hear your offer?" he asked.
"It's just a simple buying and selling businesses offer. You buy from me at the original price and sell it at your price. I promise you wouldn't suffer a loss in this business, you can tell that my alcohol is of the best. And when they're known, business would be great." Lin Yu'an laid down his proposal, he didn't need any investment or them joint corporation in the alcohol factory he wanted to open, he has more than enough funds to open the factory himself and own all shares. And also because of his secrets he couldn't afford a joint corporation with others where he'd be asked where things that would be used in the company are from. He didn't want to have to be watching his back anytime because of a joint corporation. Butch and Olive thought over his proposal, they agreed thinking it wasn't a bad proposal. They discussed about things with each side bringing in their thoughts. "Mr. Butch another thing, i don't want the profit earned from the wine you buy from me to be over, it wouldn't be good for business. For instance the company price of the wine is 5 taels, to sell in shop is 5 taels and 500 wens. Then you can priced from your side at 6 to 7 taels. It shouldn't exceed two taels profit, that is for the first year of business. After that you can price it anyway you want because i believe by a year's time my wine brand would be know in the whole dynasty and beyond. Can we agree on that?" he said calmly and asked.
Analysing his words Butch saw no loss in that so he agreed and they draft a contract there and signed. Both parties shook hands with enthusiasm looking forward to a successful business cooperation together. "Mr. Lin do you have more wine available now to sell?" Olive asked. He was more for the wine than the business, he was thirsty for more after finishing a jar as they discussed business. "No, i didn't brew much. I only brew a few jars for sample and kept at home. Don't have more" Lin Yu'an answered apologetically "keep the ones I brought. I have to get going now, I'll see you in a few day's time" Lin Yu'an bid them and left them, before leaving the medicine shop he gave doctor Xia a wine jar too.
