Ch-1 Meet Her Again

He goes into this building with his secretary. They go to the receptionist.

"Hello, good evening." The receptionist greets them." How may I assist you?"

The secretary smiles professionally. "Hello, good evening. This is my boss, Arthur Lance and I am his secretary. We are here from Emrald because we have a meeting with the CEO of Moontide."

"I see. Please, hold on for a second. I have to confirm it first." Then, the receptionist -Wenzie- dials and calls. The phone rings and after three beeps the call is picked up.

The receptionist tells the person on the other side about the man and his secretary. Wenzie nods and agrees as answer to the other person and then hungs up.

"Collie" Wenzie looks at the ither receptionist, Collie. "I will lead our guests to her." Collie nods and Wenzie steps out.

"Please, follow me." She points towards the elevator and takes the their. "Thea, take out guests to floor 27." Thea, the woman standing near the elevator nods and presses the elevator button to open its door.

"Esteemed guests, Thea will lead you to the 27th floor. There, you will see a meeting room. That's where your meeting is scheduled." Wenzie says with a smile. "Then, I shall take my leave." Wenzie bows and returns to the front desk.

'I can literally see the elevator from the front desk clearly as it's very close. She didn't have to escort me.' He sighs. 'Oh well. Maybe that's a part of her job?'

Thea gets into the elevator followed by Arthur and his secretary. Thea presses the right buttons and they reach the 27th floor soon.

"Please." Thea bows to Arthur as the elevator door opens. Arthur steps out followed by his secretary. They enter the room and Arthur sits down on one of the chairs.

"Henry, have you prepared all the files? You didn't leave anything behind right? You know we can't let go of this opportunity."

Henry nods and opens his file to recheck for the 301st time. "Yes, sir. We have all the-?!" Henry suddenly pauses and a sudden expression of fear takes over his face. He starts going the the pages as fast and as gently as he could but he didn't find what he was looking for. He did that five more times to no avail.

Arthur frowns. "What's wrong?" There was a minute of silence. "Henry, I am asking. What's wrong?" Arthur's frowns gets deeper and he clenches his jaw.

"Sir...we have all the designs and everything you know..the attachments...but we don't have the main plan document... Its gone! It was here in my folder-" Henry starts looking for it again.

"What?! The main plan?! but without that we won't be able to-"

The door opens. It startles Arthur and Henry and they hurriedly stand up.

"...And that's how it is. That's all it is." It was the sound of a professional secretary.

"I see. Then, keep it on my table. We will continue to discuss it after this meeting." This was the voice strong woman. Confidence screams in her voice yet that voice is familiar. This voice which is so calming and gentle sounds so familiar.

A woman in red suit comes in. High heels. A red coat and a maroon top with a stylish knot at the end located a few centimetres above her waist. Flowing beautiful black hair and cold bloody red eyes. Thick and soft lips painted which light blush.

Arthur's eyes widen as he sees the woman come in.
