Route 381

Willard Winter was a workaholic.

During his working hours, he would barely feel his physical needs.

Things like eating and drinking, going to the bathroom, or sleeping.

Pulling an all-nighter was a piece of cake for Willard.

He wouldn't force Tobias Perkins to stay up with him. After seeing the electronic time display show 10 p.m., Willard said to Tobias, "Mr. Perkins, you don't have to stay with me any longer. You can come back tomorrow afternoon."

As Willard spoke, his eyes never left the computer screen.

Tobias just watched Willard quietly and said, "Don't worry. I'll leave when I'm tired."

Only then did Willard find the time to glance at Tobias: "Rising Sun still needs Mr. Perkins. You can't slack off and give others a chance."

Tobias sighed and said, "You're right."

Tobias's days at Rising Sun were not as carefree as they seemed.

Though it looked like Luke Perkins had relinquished control, he was still closely monitoring Tobias's every move.
