Chapter 20 Not Easy

Three days had passed before Stark eventually summoned Sherry to the mansion. It didn’t worry him about how long it had passed without them meeting. Everything was already evident to him. It was one of the perks of being a billionaire who had all the riches one could never use up in a lifetime.

Nothing appeared to trigger his curiosity when he had the answers to what he wanted to know. No, almost nothing.

It was Sherry Summers, who had slipped out of his fingers once. She would forever be that tinge of curiosity in his life, although she would never understand his thoughts. Stark had a reason to be the cold man he was. And she would probably never find out that reason in a very long time.

Among his servants, Walter was the one who was the most talkative. Stark was assured he had spilled a few beans to Sherry, but he couldn’t care less. It was not like it would change anything. Even if Sherry knew something about him, she still needed his help enough to remain in his arrangement.
