Chapter 94

"What do you mean she's your granddaughter?" Aiden asked.

Mr. Dee slowly stepped away from Ariel and put his hand in his pocket, taking out a small wallet.

He handed it over to Aiden, "Take a look at the picture in there," he said.

Aiden curiously took the wallet from him and opened it; Ariel subtly moved to his side to look, too.

"Oh my God," Ariel whispered as she stared at the picture in the wallet.

Aiden remained quiet; he knew why Ariel was shocked; he was too. He almost thought Ariel was the one in the picture if not for how old the picture looked.

"That's my daughter, Miranda Dew," Mr. Dee informed.

"That's my mother..." Ariel whispered again.

Aiden was surprised.

This was the first time Ariel was admitting to someone being her family. He'd been curious to meet her parents, but he never knew he'd first meet her mother in a picture.

Aiden cleared his throat, "She is beautiful," He complimented.
