Chapter 28

Aiden rubbed his hand across his face and slowly stood from the bed. He wasn't one bit embarrassed, rather, he was pissed, but he couldn't let his grandma know that.

"I guess I forgot to lock the door," He said, clearing his throat.

Grandma Nari scoffed, "Yes, grandson, you did forget to lock the door," She replied.

There was a tense silence between them before he spoke up, "Um, did you want something, Grandma?" Aiden asked, subtly looking down between his legs to make sure he wasn't giving his grandma a scare.

"Oh, no, I just wanted to say goodnight to my daughter-in-law, but I guess I chose the wrong time," she chucked lightly, walking closer to him.

Aiden raised a brow at her. "Yes, Grandma. You sure did choose the wrong time," Aiden replied to her in the same manner she had replied to him.

Grandma Nari furrowed her brows and peered at him, holding his shoulder and staring at him scrutinizingly.
