"Shying away from your wifely duties, little wife?" He questioned in a husky voice, lowering his face to hers. Ariel quickly turned her head away, "No, Mr. Chaz, you're misunderstanding me again," She voiced quietly. Aiden scoffed, not believing her. He looked down at his chest and found her slim hand still placed against it. "You're quite corny, Ariel. Saying you don't want me, yet you're hands are all over me," Aiden whispered in her ear. *** After overhearing her father and stepmother planning how they were going to marry her off in place of her Stepsister to the unsuccessful son of their debtor. That night, Ariel plans her run away, but that same night, Ariel mysteriously gets kidnapped. Chapter 100

Aiden and Ariel had finished eating and were currently sitting in the living room with Ariel resting on Aiden's side, his arms wrapped around her.

She took his other hand in her hands and kissed the back of it.

"I love you," She looked up at him, her eyes conveying her words.

She couldn't believe how a child could live knowing that his mother didn't love him, knowing that she could kill him anytime.

No domestic violence was acceptable, but she could say that she had it easy compared to Aiden, even though she faced hers way longer than he did.

At least she didn't get traumatized by her own mother; it was a stepmother, who she never even lived or saw as a mother figure, and a father, who she had long disowned in her heart.

Eva?

Eva wasn't a problem to her, she had no business with that spoilt airhead.

"I love you, too," Aiden replied, kissing her head.
