Chapter 41 Seasonal Trading Center

These days Shun Su has been going in and out of Hu'er's house. Visiting her to give tons of information about what has been happening around the Tribe. Shun Su even saw two females from Monkey Tribe, three from the Panda tribe, and one from the Deer tribe. The Sheep tribe, although their tribe is near, their females didn't participate. According to what Shun Su heard, the females' of the Sheep Tribe right now are either pregnant or too old to participate in such an event. Except for the Lemurs Tribe who brought one female, other Tribes didn't bring their females. They are too far away after all.

Today is the start of the Seasonal Trading Center. The Fox Tribe is much noisier and full of people. There will be beastmen everywhere you go. The beastmen have different ears and tails. Every surrounding tribe is already in the Fox Tribe. The peacock, as usual, didn't arrive.

In the very center of the Fox Tribe, the tables and booths are all full of materials, food, and some stuff that are ready to be traded. They are very organized. Every tribe has its own space. Most Tribes have three to five tables and two booths. The host will always be trading at the center, which is now the Fox Tribe.

While everyone is busy setting up their thing and some are already trading, Hu'er is in predicament. There are quite a lot of veils in front of Hu'er. Every veil is too good. She could have chosen one immediately but once she holds one to choose the veil, three beastmen have different expressions. One is elated and the others are disappointed. She didn't know how to do this anymore. If they are now their mate, she'll throw them away.

The veils are made by Jiu Lin, Shun Su, and Song Li. These three are just making it hard for her to choose a veil. Fortunately, Xin Hua hasn't transformed yet, or else it will be four.

"Alright, use this Hu'er. This is made by me. You three stop fussing around. If you kept going we will not let you follow Hu'er later." Yi Fu helps Hu'er to wear her veil. He had been hiding his veil and letting the future mates of Hu'er get the chance to show their efforts. However, since Hu'er didn't know what to do, he stepped in.

When the three heard him, they ask for forgiveness and promise that they won't repeat it. Hu'er only smiled under her veil. She's very thankful that Daddy Yi Fu saved her. She now knew what to do when this thing happened. Although it's embarrassing, she will still go to her Daddy and hide behind them.

When Hu'er is ready to go, Jiu Hu starts telling her what to do and not to do. He also told her as a female she has an exception when trading, for example, if the female ate food and she likes it the beastmen with her will pay for it and if the female doesn't like it they can trade less than what is expected to be traded. Those things though are not applicable if the one who is in the booth or table is a female. You need to give what you can before taking what you want to get as a trade.

It's quite unfair but according to Jiu Hu, it will be the beastmen's pleasure to give things to females. Some don't even want to trade anymore but just want to give it for free. That is the reason why they came up with that rule to stop the beastmen from giving things for free and still make them satisfied with it.

When they all went out of the treatment house, the beastmen who were busying around all looked at them. They know that a little female is living in the treatment house. Everyone who can use things to buy information knows where all females live. It's also not a secret anyway. But today, because of Shun Su and Song Li who came in holding veils, everyone knew that the little female was going out.

Hu'er is wearing a white dress made out of Song Li's wool, and the orange ribbon on her dress is made out of Jiu Lin's fur, Her hair accessories are little gems that were given by Xin Hua, and she's also holding a cute basket that was made by Shun Su. With Hu'er's veil sewn by her Daddy Yin Fu, her outfit is perfect.

However, those things weren't the ones in the beastmen's attention. All beastmen who can feel and are familiar with the blessing of the tree could feel it toward Hu'er. It is strong and means that the little female will grow fast and healthy. This made them think of how they could ask to be her mate or be their son's mate. While the others who don't feel the blessing of the tree can only think that the little female must be beautiful and that everyone is protective of her.

Knowing where the house of the female is one thing but knowing other things about the female is hard. No Tribe would say anything about their female, and if other Tribe knew, they wouldn't spread it either. Just like the Sheep Beastmen and Panda Beastmen who saw and knew Hu'er.

"Let's go to your Aunt Qiao. They are waiting in their house." Dada carried her toward Aunt Qiao's house. They immediately saw Xin Hua waiting at the door. He went in for a second and came back. Xin Hua ran towards them.

Hu'er nudges her Dada. She wants to carry Xin Hua. Her Dada told her to speak less, so she didn't speak but Jiu Hu understood her. Jiu Hu gave the basket to Shun Su to hold. Then asked Jiu Lin to pick up Xin Hua. When Xin Hua was carried to her. Hugging Xin Hua, Hu'er pats his head and whispers, "Xin Hua, Hi." She then caresses his fur.

"Alright, that's enough." Min He took Xin Hua and put him down. Gave the basket back to her. It is just in time as Aunt Qiao came out with her veil and mates.
