Chapter 155 Reunion (4)

A warm welcome is paired with warm food. Beastmen start sitting down where their table is. Everyone is talking with each other.

Hu'er even went to table after table to talk with them. It gave other beastmen a new feeling, a refreshing feeling that gave them flattery and shyness.

She met a lot of beastmen and females, got introduced and acted like she remembered all the names that were introduced to her.

Some beastmen and females look familiar to her. She would greet them with enthusiasm if they greet her with familiarity. Hu'er would remember their names along the way they talk, there are times that other females will call out their names making it much easier for her.

When Hu'er got tired of talking with everyone, she excused herself and went towards their table. She saw them waiting on her, only Ke Rin is looking dazedly on his food.

His eyes brightened with mischief and slowly walked towards him. Ke Rin nearly jumped up when someone tapped his back without knowing.

"Did you miss me?" Yet that voice made him unable to do anything but hear his heart beating fast. Not because of shock but because of the female in front of him. His future mate, the female he wanted to mate with, Hu'er.

He got stunned and stared at her face for a long time. He felt a tug on his clothes. Hu'er is pouting, acting disappointed but in his eyes she is being coy.

She grew. Her body grew well. She's an adult female now. Realizing that he is dazedly staring at her again, his face slowly flushed red. "Miss… I miss you," he shyly muttered. He looks around only to be pushed by someone playfully.

"We also miss you, little sis. You've grown beautiful. My mate will definitely like you, she loves beautiful females." It is their brother, Jiu Su.

Hu'er didn't go to her brother's table anymore since the females had already gone to her earlier. She didn't expect one of her brothers to not bring his mate.

Confused, she asked, "Where is she?" Hu'er couldn't remember who or the look of her brother's mate but based on what he said, she knew that his mate did not attend the celebration.

He suddenly looked proud, "She's pregnant and it:s mine. She will be going a little later."

Hu'er beamed. "That's great! Keep her safe."

Jiu Su nodded eagerly with a serious attitude. Suddenly his expression changed to hesitation, "We will. And um Hu'er…" He stopped for a bit. He is thinking if he would say it or not. But still did  "Don't rush to have cubs. or feel bad if you don't get pregnant."

"Jiu Su." "Dad." Ke Rin and Shun Su warned him immediately. This wasn't the time to say such a thing nor he is in position to do so.

Hu'er taps Ke Rin and smiles at Shun Su to signal them that it is fine. "We already decided not to have cubs that fast. They are waiting for me after all. But…" Hu'er looks at Ke Rin and the rest of her future mate. "If I accidentally get pregnant, they will be fine with it. Right?"

Everyone on their table eagerly nodded. Such accidents can happen and they know about it. They accepted that possibility already. It's just great that she isn't right now. At least for Song Li, as he has been waiting for his time to come.

She giggled. "See? So don't worry about it, 5th brother."

He knew he did something he shouldn't and wanted to run away. "That's great. It's great that you know how to take care of little sis. I'll be going thn. I still need to fetch my mate." He ran away just like that. Not even waiting for them to reply.

Because of Jiu Su's action Hu'er saw Jiu Lin on Jiu Su's way. She waves at Jiu Lin to come. Yet he only smiled at her.

He have been standing near her earlier and only will distance himself if Hu'er is speaking with other female. He is not afraid of anyone hurting Hu'er. Jiu Lin knew no one had the guts to do so.

However, when Jiu Lin saw that Hu'er was going to their table he distance himself to give them a bit time to spend with each other, only to be ruined by his other brother, Jiu Su.

His face was full of helplessness when that happened. Jiu Su doesn't really care about what Jiu Lin is thinking, giving time, or even what will think at the moment. He was just so hyper and proud that he created another living being in his mates belly. It is indeed something that everyone can be proud of. Jiu Lin can see himself joyfully telling everyone about it if it happens to him.

"Why are you there, standing alone? You didn't even follow me." Hu'er pouted and walked toward him. She dragged him to go to their table.

He chuckles sheeply, "Sorry. I saw–"

Hu'er interrupted him, "Always follow me or else I wouldn't know where to look for you." She knew that he would reason out again that's why she didn't let him continue to speak

Helpless but happy, "Alright," he responded.

"Let's eat?" Song Li taps Jiu Lin's shoulder and smiles at him. Jiu Lin nodded.

Song Li, Ke Rin, Shun Su and Xin Hua start talking about recent activities that they gathered while Jiu Lin and Hu'er listened to them. Hu'er in particular like to gossip about recent activity with other families and tribes near them.

Hu'er couldn't help but remember a celebration they celebrate every time a past 'sister' came back to have a banquet. They called it a reunion banquet.

For them, reunion does not only mean being together after a long separation, but a hope. Hope that someday someone will also buy them or be freed like their 'sister' who visited them.

Now, they are like in a reunion, it is just that it is completely different. This reunion is the best gathering she attended. She can feel the freshness and love all around her. She likes it very much.
