Heir of the Undefeated King.

Life is always unpredictable. Even people who can see the bits and pieces of the future are often mistaken in their judgments.

There is no need to chase an uncertain future. Live for the present because the decisions you make today will determine what your future will be like.

"Aren't those nice words. He always gives a lot of life lessons during his pursuit. Lives from an ordinary human who has nothing to become a king who is respected by his people. His knights followed him wholeheartedly and his people were willing to die for their king."

"He is a fearless king even before our lord. Not afraid even when his body was burned by the first fire in this world. Even when he was tormented by the majesty of the sun and the coldness of the gentle moon. He looks down on everything."

The Harbinger of Death was filled with emotion when he said this. Happiness, sadness, anxiety, and fear filled his crystal clear eyes at the memory of that event.

That happened way back in the past. Countless years have passed, but the Legend of the Undefeated King still resounds throughout the world today.

He had lived so long that he had forgotten his own name. But the memory of a man who laughed crazily that day was still fresh in his mind

"The story of the Undefeated King is so beautiful in people's eyes that his history has never been lost even though his name has never been remembered again." The Harbinger of Death grabbed Ivo Graham by the throat and lifted him into the air

"The legend he has never goes away no matter how people try to erase it. His legacy is known by everyone on this continent. Even those across the ocean know the Legend of the Undefeated King." He plunged his hand into Ivo's chest and tore it apart as if ripping open tofu. His hand touched the heart that once belonged to the Undefeated King.

A blood-red heart that continuously pumped the surrounding mana into its body. Mana was absorbed and changed by the heart as a source of strength and as a Mana source that never runs out for the owner.

With just a little bit of hostility, the heart would respond and attract mana in nature. Its mechanism cannot be explained even by the wisest of humans. This is not a realm where knowledge can measure how a concept implanted in the human body can work.

This is the source of the Undefeated King's power. It's a symbol and one of his main legacies.

The Harbinger of Death had no interest in the Heart of Fearlessness. He just wanted to confirm that the person in front of him was really the heir of the Undefeated King.

The Harbinger of Death caught an oddity in Ivo's body. he asked curiously. "The mana in your body is so pure. At the age where your body has almost ended the talent blooming period. This can't be happening. Are you really a human?"

Ivo didn't answer. He naturally couldn't say that he had suddenly appeared in Ernest's city.

Harbinger put his finger on Ivo's forehead. "Interesting, let's see what secrets you have."

The death energy was about to enter his head when the cold voice of Ivo sounded in his ear. He did something that no one here would ever think of.

"Keep your hands off me." Ivo drew a black sword and thrust it into the Harbinger of Death's head. His body disappeared under the gray smog.

Ivo emerged five meters from where he started. His body slowly appeared and floated in the air held by one of the Shadows. His hands choked Ivo nearly killing him. His voice was filled with a deep rage towards Ivo.

"You… you dare. You dare touch the sacred body of the great guardian and commit such a despicable act." His grip was even tighter

"I will make sure your death is more gruesome than any human who has ever lived." Shadow with blue eyes strengthened his grip. He was one of the Shadows watching over Raven that night, and the one who delivered the message regarding Ivo's Whereabouts.

He was dead… those were the thoughts of everyone present. They didn't see what Ivo did but heard from what he said Ivo Graham had done something terrible.

The Harbinger of Death laughed at Ivo Graham's behavior. He drew the sword as if it wasn't a threat at all. "Stop it, Uru. Let him go. He truly is the heir of the Undefeated King."

The Shadow named Uru let go of his grip, He obeyed every order his master gave him. But the anger in his heart did not disappear. "As you wish my lord."

"It seems that Bernard will have someone else he can rely on in carrying out his pursuit." He saw Raven still bowed before him. The interest he had shown earlier was gone.

The Harbinger of Death commemorates it. Only Raven can hear his voice. "Raven Astrea, you must have heard the message I conveyed through my disciple Bernard Lurk. I hope your heart is ready because it is my last warning. If you continue what you're doing behind the scenes, I myself will ensure that all who come into contact with you will taste something worse than death."

The Harbinger of Death exerted a bit of strength. All the death energy that had accumulated in the sky grabbed Raven's body and destroyed the 1000 life vessel he had built.

"Ugh…" His body fell into a state of collapse. The mana in his body was as if dead and unable to move. Not only he, but almost everyone on the island also experienced the same thing.

They squirmed like a worm given to salt in its body.

Only a few people are lucky enough to survive its attacks.

The Harbinger of Death put his blindfold back on. He reminded Raven one last time. "Make what happened today a reminder for you. Don't think that simply having eyes that see the truth blinds you from the absolute truths of this world."

"It is the strongest who will rule."

He stared at Ivo whose body was shattered from forcibly using 'Distortion Body'. In addition, all the wounds on his chest worsened his condition.

The Harbinger of Death didn't care. If he survives, it is his luck. If he dies, then that's as far as his abilities go. "Heir of the Undefeated King. Let what I planted in the Heart of Fearlessness be your reminder of our Court Of Death. Send a message to the organizations standing behind you that we do not want the slightest animosity with you."

The Harbinger Of Death turned its gaze to the sky. Snowflakes were falling on the island and the whole temperature was dropping. Terrifying magic power was heading towards this island.

"Ice Empress Velda. It seems that things are not going according to plan." The Harbinger of Death raised his finger, magic power as gentle as the wind and as calm as the silent sea gathered in his finger. It was one of his abilities.

[Death touch.]

Gray mana shot out from his fingertips. No one knows when he fired it. All they feel is the impact it produces.

The two magic powers collided in the middle of the sea that separated this island from the continent inhabited by humans. The collision produces two effects that are different from each other. The magic of the Ice Empress made the entire ocean freeze to the shore.

On the other hand, there wasn't the slightest ripple in the ocean from the Harbinger of Death's magical attacks. Even so, all marine life that was in its trajectory died in an instant.

Gray and Blue Mana separated the two seas. The collision of their attacks was even more terrifying than Argon's spatial magic that he released earlier.

"We are retreating."

"Good." All the Death Seekers on the island rushed to their feet behind the Harbinger of Death. The survivors gathered around each other and prepared to retreat.

In their midst, a man with a terrible wound on his head followed them as one of the Death Seekers. Even though the death energy within his body was incomparable to anything else, none of the Death seekers suspected him.

They disappeared from the island.

"Good luck to you The Lost one." Ivo muttered. He lay weakly on the ground holding an empty high grade healing potion.

What happened today was completely unexpected. His mind was in utter turmoil even though he had eaten the mind calming leaves.

No, I'm not done yet.

There is still one thing I must do.

"He has left." At the top of the tower of wisdom, the Ice Empress stood staring at the island where the last test was carried out. Behind her, more than ten space elemental mages knelt down and bowed their heads in shame.

They could feel anger in the words that came out of their leader.

they said simultaneously. "We apologize for our incompetence. Please punish us if that can ease your anger."

They had tried their best to break through the barrier set up by the Court of Death. But it was useless, apart from being nearly impossible for them to penetrate, the atmospheric Mana on the island had been converted almost entirely into death energy.

It was impossible to send aid under those conditions. It is unknown how Argon could have suddenly moved there.

Velda was currently in a bad mood. "Go to the cognition tower and experiment tower and confine yourselves there. At least you guys can contribute to the academy."

They nodded their heads and left the tower of wisdom.

"It's time to prepare for war."
