chapter 24

Eliana hugged Myra when she felt her crying,she could feel that her heart was heavy just like hers,there were times she had no one to confide in.

She was like a broken bottle that could be dispose anytime,"you don't have to cry anymore",Brina sighed as they made a group hug.

After breaking free from the hug,her phone suddenly rang and she picked it up seeing the caller's ID.

"Sophia",she gasped when she heard her crying,"tell me what happened".

Standing in her feet,she listened before hanging up,"guys,Jeremy got into an accident".

They were about to run out when Myra halted,"thanks for the advice Eliana,you should become our friend",Eliana didn't say a word as she looked down.

Walking out quickly,she finally collapsed as she cried,she felt so suffocated that it was hard to breath.

why was everything difficult for her,why can't she live like a commoner,all her life there has never been a time when she could say that she was actually happy.

Yes her family appeared to be happy and strong but it was very different from the inside and she could voice it out to the world,she felt a hand on her shoulder and she froze,could it be that someone had seen her break down like a weakling.

Quickly cleaning her tears away,she turned to the person and she blinked to confirm who she was actually seeing now,Nicole.

"Why are you crying",he asked tucking some strands of hair behind her ear,staring at him for quite sometime before looking away.

"There is nothing wrong",she said smiling as she hiccuped,her nose was red and her eyes were swollen.

Chuckling for a while,"you don't have to lie to me",squatting in front of her he cleaned her tears.

Hugging her while brushing his fingers into her hair,"you are not allowed to cry anymore cos..",Eliana tried to break from the hug when she froze.

"I love you,Eliana",finally breaking free from the hug,she looked at him with disbelief.

"i have always loved you and i still do",he repeated before leaning over her and she felt her body stiffed and her eyes closed as their lips met,they both shared a passionate kiss.

Releasing her lips slowly,he made her sit before staring at her,"so are we an item now".

Nodding his head,he answered her question with a smile before pecking her,"i know you have a very difficult life but i hope we can stay together".

Sophia sighed before putting down the towel,she had finished cleaning his face before kissing his lips,this was her daily routine for the past one week.

she missed him so much that she didn't go to school,she decided to let her friends know what happened,she was still in a daze when someone knocked on the door.

she pulled herseld out of that daze before looking up,"i didn't know that you all come",she said getting up to hug them.

"we missed you",they hugged her tightly,they were still confused with how Jeremy was associated to Sophia but it wasn't the right time to ask or was it.

Looking at the pale Jeremy on the bed,they could see the sadness in her eyes,"you might all want to know the relationship between us".

When she saw them nod,she sighed before looking at him with a bitter smile,

"Three years ago,i was still working on my college registration when i met with him,he had a very pure heart and very easy to associate with him.we became friends eventually until we started dating,i spent all my time with him,he was my everything and i was his everything.

There was this particular time,his birthday came up and i wanted to create a surprise for him but..",she choked on her words as tears rolled down her cheek,she still continued anyways.

"I caught him with a naked girl and he was wrapped with a towel,i felt devastated that i could think properly and i ran out,he came to me apologizing that it was a misunderstanding but i never listened to him till now.

Now he was caught with an accident and lying on the sick bed because i refused to forgive him,i am so wicked",she sniffed as she cried,she didn't know why she was feeling so guilty as her heart ached for him.

Myra was about to say something when a voice beat her to it,"you are not wicked and infact you are the most kindest person i have ever seen,i was the one at fault and not you",Sophia snapped her head to the voice and her eyes widened before she rushed to the bed.

"Darling",she caressed his face gently and he smiled,"i missed you so much".She kissed his lips before hugging him,"i was such an idiot for letting her touch me and for hurting you,forgive me",she nodded her head.

"I am so happy that you are conscious now but the doctor would like to check on you first",Myra and the rest chorused and it got Jeremy's attention,he smiled before letting the doctor check on him.

Sharon sat on the couch in his room as he breathed in,he didn't understand his feelings anymore but one thing was sure,it was now or never for him.

He wouldn't lose the chance to be with her,he was willing to let her know how much he loved her,picking up his phone he dialed her number.

"What the heck do you want",her cold voice rang in his ear and he sighed,"i want to meet with you". He heard her laugh,"let's meet after two days of the trip",he couldn't do anything but agree to her decision.

"I can't wait to meet you",he said and silence reign between them,"i can't wait too".

The call was already hung up before he would say anything and he couldn't help but chuckle.
