Sawyer smiled, hearing her opinion.
"You have a point, Abby. However, I'm not as skilled as you think. While I can grill meat, my talent isn't on the same level as a chef's. But don't worry, Abby—you won't go hungry with me around. I'll make sure to pamper you with delicious food." He promised.
Instantly, Abigail felt a flutter of excitement at his words.
"Can you stop making me flutter?" She asked shyly, but clearly, her eyes beamed with happiness.
Sawyer frowned slightly.
"I'm not trying to do that. But I'm just trying to convey that you won't be hungry, and you don't need to enter the kitchen if you're my girl because I'll take care of the kitchen for you."
Abigail was speechless, realizing how prominent his words were. Their eyes locked for a brief moment, and she remained silent.
Sawyer couldn't contain his joy when he noticed her cheeks flush. He could see in her eyes just how happy she was.
